There will be two sessions:

The exact date of the application form "downloadable" will be mentioned in the admission talk. I think it will be around mid of August.

Be reminded, if same as last year, the application form should be submitted to the school within the two weeks time assigned. Last year, the period of application form submission was the last two weeks of Sept.

I hope my husband would be willing to ask question too. He might ask me to do so. ><
We have been to a seminar with open day before and the seminar was super overrun. She felt a bit boring. I am worried if she would behave bad in front of the teachers in LMC. It might ruin her image.

ic, 原來已經在open day 去過.. 不過open day 的seminar 同admission seminar 有部份唔同,  佢大約講下收生程序, interview 的流程. 若你放心的話, 禮堂後面有個圖書閣, 一係你一個聽, 一個陪阿女去睇書, 咁會唔會好d ?

If there is a book corner, it would be wonderful! My daughter loves reading very much. But can we go there during the seminar??

lmc 未試過派位, 但校網是幾多人想入的34.
佢有聯繫直資中學顏寶齡, 本人覺得, 六年後若將來派位唔好, 叩門時以一口流利英語去present 自己, 應該會唔錯啊.

I rememberred the day I went to LMC for application submission. I met some students playing in the covered playground. I heard they talked with each others in English. They were so good (they even didnt' have any HK accent!!) and I was impressed.

It is one of the main reason I like LMC. I know many so-called "English primary school" claim themself teaching English and English-based. But when you met the students from the schools, you realized they are not teaching very well in English, especially in spoken English.

Another point I appreciated LMC in creating a good English background is their policy in selection of students. In their last year annual school report, I read it in the LMC website, there are  50% non-chinese students in school. So, this multicultural environment can effectively enforce students to speak English to each other as a common language they have to use.

Don't forget. Mandarin for chinese teaching is also a important policy in this school. All of us agree that mandarin becomes more and more imporant, and will be another important language over the world.

好老實講, 我由k1 開始就收到lmc 的介紹書仔, 仲要製作成本都係好野, 但對佢冇乜留意, 到第二年又派... 都冇乜留意, 到學校請左兩間學校的校長去我地幼稚園教路, 其中一位係文校長, 第一個感覺係, 幾hard sales, 幾認叻... 但聽聽下, 發覺佢講野係有小小串, 但係有point, 有自信, 跟住我同老公走時都立即望佢本小冊子, 再上網睇下, 發覺.. 咦.. in 埋lmc 做back up都好喎. 後來日子愈來愈近, 我只是in 左兩間, 一間tsl 一間lmc, 跟住自行分配一間, 因為呢兩間直資都係我想要的, 小朋友會讀得開心的, 英語同普通話會學好的, 最重要價錢係絕對比得起的. 仟鬆蚊的國際學校, 邊度搵 ??? 最後自行分配果間我都放棄學位, 而註冊lmc 喇. hahahahaha

Why will you get the LMC leaflet?? Does it have connection to the kindergarten of your kid??

I guess I Would apply for a few more school. the birth rate of 2005 is higher so I dare not to have too much hope.

我去交表當日下著大雨, 所以急急忙忙, 沒有留意觀察LMC學生說英文如何.

看過幾間英文直資小學給家長等候時,所撥放的校園影片, 裡面學生說起英文帶著濃濃香港腔, 也不太流利, 已經很失望.

看到你所說的, 我就放心多了.

其實可能同D老師背境有關掛!!當我帶阿仔interview果日，聽到一兩個老師同D小朋友用英文傾計時，佢地應該係外地讀書，佢地D英文有外國口音的。另外，50%學生是非華籍何能令英語環境國際化吧!!

不過，我都發覺有幾位老師D英文有香港音....:)

The seminer was fine in my mind. The info is clear and  the teachers are friendly. :) My husband also think Ms Man is a smart lady!

我們已報名, 但application no. 好像已過1000人了, 本來諗LMC入到機會比較大, 現在真是很擔心!
另外想問LMC和聯系中學顏寶玲是怎樣的?是不是LMC會有特定人數學生可進入顏寶玲?

LMC is a good school. So, more and more parents start to pay attentions on this school's development and reputation, of course the comments from LMC parents. It is expected the applications in this year or coming years will be increased.

As there is still no P.6 graduate in LMC, there is no data on how many graduates get into NPL. It think there is 33% , I maybe wrong!!!, of the F.1 seats for PLK primary schools each year.
