Boxhill or ESF? Does ESF have priority over Boxhill for interview in RC? But some said RC has reserved seat for Boxhill. Which is true? Thx.

RC is an ESF/ESL school. With this understanding in mind, I would not be surprised if RC gives priority to ESF kindergarten students to interview. Boxhill is a kindergarten closest to RC in the neighbourhood. RC was a new school a few years back and I heard that RC did have interview arrangements with Boxhill. Since ESF now has WKS in this neighbourhood since last year, I am not sure whether "special arrangements" would still be made for Boxhill.
To clarify, the "special arrangements" with ESF kindergarten and Boxhill was that teachers would go to the kindergarten to meet with children for a "pre-interview" "meeting". And thereafter, ESF kindergarten and Boxhill children seem to be invited for "real" interview earlier than children from other kindergartens.
Having said that, I think students still need to pass the interview to get admission to RC. So the term "reserved seats" may not exactly be suitable to describe the situation.

If priority for interview in RC was for ESF and Boxhill students, which have higher priority or they are just equal? Thx.

ESF kindy students have listed priority for RC interview, while Boxhill only had the "special arrangement" when there wasn't WKS and when RC was new.
That would give you an answer... of course, ESF kindy children would have a higher priority than Boxhill children.

I see. Does Boxhill still have special arrangement anymore after there's WKS?

ESF goes to IS kindy who have significant numbers of children applying for the particular ESF school. Even if there's arrangement for classroom observation, it doesn't mean applicants get interview priority.
as another parent has said above, all applicants still need to to pass the interview
