When fill in "on the left of" or "on the right of", we should fill in what we see or from the directions of the object(s), I really confused.  Can anybody help?
Say:
The doll is on the left of the robot.

It is :
Robot
Doll

Or

Doll
Robot

It's an English question.
Just to fill in "on the right of" or "on the left of".  However, I am really confused of how to judge the direction, whether it is
1.  directly from what we see, or
2.  from the direction of the object itself.

Any other views?

There is no doubt that you should always judge 'Left' or 'Right' by your direction unless it is stated or example provided to judge by the object's direction.
