小兒五年級,成績中上 (音樂 - Piano Grade 5 ,體育沒有強項),如果選直資學校,有什麼建議?

Any chance within band 1? And do you know the banding of your son's school? Besides, any religious belief?

想要KLN side. 好TOP如 (eg. DBS, Ying Wai) 怕入5到了.

I think the banding of my son's School is band 2. We have no any religious belief.

Based on my experience (this year), you may consider the following:

1. Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling (in Tokwawan)
2. United Christian College (Kowloon East)

The important point is whether you son is in Band 1 or Band 2. This affects your plan. You may ask your son's class-teacher to deduce the position. The banding of your son's school is not a concern, though its reputation or connection with DSS may be a factor.

My kid's teacher suggested 6 DSS for us to consider having regard to my kid's academic result and character. Luckily, 5 out of the 6 DSS accepted my kid finally. So it's important to discuss with the teacher before you go ahead. Besides, would you consider other DSS not in Kln side if they are located along the MTR lines? This can expand your choices.
