九龍／新界有邊間 IS 是 KINDER 直上 PRIMARY 一條龍的？最少有大部份位留返比自己 KINDER 的那隻THX。

有幼稚園至中學o既IS好似來來去去就個幾間(定十幾間?冇統計過)；
見你又唔想搬屋；究竟你肯唔肯定IS係咪你杯茶?
IS同Local分別唔單止係英文教學...學制亦唔太相容...
入到幼稚園；升小學點；升唔到小學又點?有冇兩手準備?定衝左入去先算?

其實我要幼稚園至小學一條龍就夠了。我其實冇 PREFERENCE 是要 LOCAL 或 IS 的，因而家競爭咁大，唔係妳話想讀乜就乜，就算想讀乜個小朋友都未必考到，所以都是 SCHOOL 揀妳，唔係妳揀 SCHOOL。所以我先周圍問啫，因為我兩樣都會替他報的，不過在一些地區範圍內看有冇先，否則去到幾遠都要啦，請妳不要介意。搵學校好煩，所以目標最好找到一條龍 KINDER -＞ PRIMARY。

以妳所知，幼稚園至小／中學o既IS有邊幾間（不論地區）？我以前冇小朋友，所以冇這方面的資料。

kcis係直升既
而swck好似都有一間係大埔既nis係有直升的
其他個d我冇咩check過
呢2間kinder都係港島呀

I'm not a professional. U can have a look of the website every IS in Hong Kong.
- ESF like 7-Eleven, 梗有一間係左緊，but 100% NO guarantee P.1 places for ESF kindergarten applicants;
- non-ESF schools : I learn some schools have reception classes and may promote to primary directly. Pls. check their website and then call the schools you prefer.
U can Gooooooooooogle a list of International Schools in Hong Kong (or in wikipedia) then browse their website. Good Luck.

Most of the kindergarten section of IS schools only start at age 4 though, unlike local schools which take students as young as 2 years old (nursery).

Many IS start from Reception and they go straight through:

Japanese International
Hong Lok yuen
australian international
American international
CAIS

The only one that goes from Nursery and playgroup all through to primary is
Yew Chung.

Many thanks. May I know what is Reception in IS? What age to start?

Year 2 = local P1 (6 to 7 years old)
Year 1 = local K3 (5 to 6 years old)
Reception = local K2 (4 to 5 years old)
Pre-reception = local K1 (3 to 4 years old)

You need to check out individual IS separately. They all have different policies. Some make August the cut-off for date of birth, some December. And Australian IS' cut-off is April because they follow the southern hemisphere's calendar.

They don't really care all that much about how big a child is. Like ESF... they count solely on category and priority. You would have to look into their website. Other IS that require and interview, like GSIS, JIS, count on the child's ability rather than the age.

It looks like you don't quite understand the IS system. You really need to look through the school's websites and understand their mission, curriculum and way of teaching. You would need to accept the mode of education of the IS of your choice, your expectation of areas of achievement should be very different from local schools.
