Per teacher’s info last Saturady,
the principle reference letter will issue in September in 1 lot.
For me it is a bit late,
the best time is b4 summer. My girl's class teacher said it is a new arrangement confirmed last week from top management.
Does any know why the change suddenly???

Yes, I am shock also.
Since I submitted a letter to class teacher last week, she confirm rec’d & told me the new arrangement.
For me they should give me back an answer by official instead of just the teacher talk to me
on Saturday when I send my girl to Drama class.
Anyway, I will call the office to verify.

係呀，有幾間小學8，9月就開始報名啦，好似DGJS,九龍塘小學, etc. 舊年我地7月尾收到校長封Reference Letter，可以放落portfolio度連同小一application form一齊submit。

噢! 原來今年開始改左發ref. letter的時間.

不過大家不用太擔心, 因為我覺得一般直資/私校應睇面試

時的臨場表現多一點. 試想想, 一間學校過千(甚至乎三千或以上)份申請表, 老師

應該唔會逐份申請表的reference letter(s)慢慢睇.

另外, 有些學校是容許申請人後補文件的. 好似我仔咁, 我交英華小學申請表時還沒取後st.cat.的ref. letter, 是1st interview時補交的.

我都係今日班主任講先知，我諗係因為下年有好多人會轉讀德望K3,所以至會改時間，等轉校嘅學生攞唔到封信，如果係真嘅我覺得好過份，話哂都係度讀咗兩年，家長轉校都係為咗小朋友，邊個叫佢哋無小學，真係無大將之風，原先都好鍾意SC,但今日對佢哋好失望

上年都有類似的安排,我地都係9月先收到信.

Ref Letter都係錦上添花,progress report好/面試表現更重要.

我女班主任話,寫幾隻字話想要ref. letter就得,要加埋成績表copy,因校長都係跟成績表寫。
我哋舊年K2時同班主任商量完,決定睇定D先拎。因為如果只係跟成績表,字眼千篇一律,即係冇乜大用途...記住老師講明只可拎一次!!
當時諗萬一考小一戰果未如理想,就到K3時,用埋上學期成績表哭求校長寫好D用來叩門...
拎之前諗清楚先呀!
