Hi,
I would like to know if studying in International primary school, will or can change back to HK local primary school and what's the major reason(s) and chance for doing that.
As I am deciding on local school and international school for my kindergarten children. Thanks

Nothing is impossible. But if your ultimate goal is local primary, why would you consider international kindie? Better oral English does not help you in securing a place in local primary schools. Besides, once these kids switch back to local, they usually lose their "good English" within a few months.

Hi,
So what's next after SIS primary school, is it SIS secondary school in Hong Kong
And actually my worry is that if the children cannot adapt to SIS primary, then its it great chance switching back to local school

Which pathway is your kid in? As I understand from my kid's school (one of ESF primary, not PIS), they have daily mandarin class for 45 mins. Their pathway 3 kids are learning the Singaporean Chinese books at their age level (e.g. year 3 at ESF learns books of Singaporean grade 2), so not really too behind from local level. Yet I do agree with you that it is not advisable for IS kids to switch back to local schools as the teaching and learning methods are totally different.
