很多人說SLS重理輕文, 各位媽媽, 請問SLS的語文程度是怎樣?會否只是普通standard,學生不太在語文上出色? 老師的中英程度又ok嗎?老師盡心教導嗎?在數學方面又是否比較出色?現有小朋友就讀的媽媽,你們為什麼最後決定擇這間學校呢?

SLS重理輕文 <== This is the case in secondary section. Primary section is better on the languages side. I studied there from primary to secondary so primary is to build a good foundation and then can focus more on science subjects in secondary level.

I think the current primary has more emphasis on English teaching than in my time. Also, they use PTH to teach Chinese too.

My son just got accepted by St Louis School, our other choices are :
1. St Joseph Anglo Chinese ( kwun tong road )
2. Victoria Shanghai Academy
3. Po Kok Primary school ( central allocation )

Which will be a better choice?

( We did not grow up in HK so we are not very familiar with the schools, but we do want our son to grow up and study here in HK. )

My son knows Cantonese as he learned from his kindergarten, but his Cantonese is not as good as local HK people.

Can anyone give us your advise?
