What is ESL program?
English as second language, what does it mean?

In the US, ESL program refers to the English class designed for people who came from countries where English is not the first language. The program is intended to help people to get up to speed in terms of English skills. For example, foreign students will need to take the ESL class in the first semester.

No sure if you are referring to what I mentioned above.
