如果搭校車需要大約一小時,直唔直得去讀,還是讀近屋企一點,但無咁出名既IS,ESF出來對日後考其他IS,既P1會唔有些少優勢,我明白直上既機會都既細,所以遇左考其他IS既P1,請給意見,

I will not allow my child to study in this kindergarten after personal visit to that school and talk with the staff. (though I had paid the money (about 10K))

if esf primary is only one of your primary options, really not worthy to travel 2 hours a day for a 3 hour class.
if esf primary is your only one option, u better move closer to the ESF kindergarten.
Personally, being a ESF kinder parent, i don't feel i will have any advantages in applying other non-ESF IS.

after talking with the staff, they gave me impression that they didn't really care about the kids, and also not care about kids' chance to promote esf primary school. They may be too honest, or may be too proud of "esf" brand as many people waiting to put they kids in the kindergarten.

You mean Anfield is better than Tutor time?
How come Tutor time is more expensive than Anfield?

For my own experience, Anfield's teachers are more caring than Tutor Time. Their teachers can tell all of the kids name even those are not in their class.

If you go to TT, it really depends on your luck whether you get a good combination of teachers. The nursery teachers seem to be more caring than the kindergarten teachers. For the money that TT is asking for, I think it's stretching it too much to ask for that price. They are only a little bit cheaper than GSIS prep!

ESF children do not seem to have any advantages to other IS schools. I agree to consider Anfield, Woodlands, Bishop International Kindergarten or YMCA International.

I can't compare other KG with Anfield, but so far, I am quite happy with Anfield's well-structured KG program.

They are very different. Anfield is British and TT is American. TT has mandarin 1/2 day everyday and Anfield do not have as much. TT is freer in terms of the learning style, which suits some children, but not in favor of some parents.

u better arrange school visit for both and u will find out which one suit you mostly.

I am a parent of WKS ESF. My advice is :Think twice before you decide to send your kid to WKS ESF. I never heard about any positive comments from the parents there, some even quitted in the middle of the school year. The principal and teachers do not care about the kids at all. This is the worst kinder among those attended by my kids. Just my personal view.

It seems to be a general understanding that the ESF kindergartens are all not good. Yet, if your target primary school is an ESF school, then you need to be in an ESF kindergarten to get the priority for an interview (you still need to pass the interview, of course).
Unfortunately, many people only has the budget for ESF primary school, and so this priority does mean a lot to them. Is that worth? Parent consider.

So I think I will stay at Kolwoon tong TT rather than apply ESF WKS la, although I live in Shatin....and my traget P1 is RC or SJS

BTW, I saw the chart in TT, most of their students can get into ESF P1

Then, if u are a Cat. 2 applicant, you will be placed behind all Cat. 2 ESF kinder applicants in the queue of your target school.
