Yes. This invitation is quite attractive but it seems to target the F.7 students. Is it correct? Do you know if it is applicable for F.5 students to join?

I called their HK office. The program is targetted at F5-F7 students, not just restricted to F7.

If one don't mind to pay, there are many good programmes offered by famous U from the US. Check from this link. It is very popular for US parents to send their kid for these summer programmes before entering University.

For the UC Berkeley's program, as far as I know this is not just a summer program. Rather, UC Berkeley intends to select top students from HK and China who will undergo a six-week intensive training at the Berkeley's campus. Students joining this program will have a better chance of being admitted to Berkeley.

UC Berkeley's Director of Undegraduate Admission is scheduled to travel to Hong Kong, and give a talk to prospective students and parents: www.berkeley.edu.hk
