請問如果小朋友跟我都擁有居英權, 小朋友在英國讀書有冇jetso?? 中學和大學是否會平D??? 有冇人可以解俾我聽??

我表妹同你 case 差唔多，但佢唔係居英權，佢直頭係持有大英護照(爸爸二十多年前已在英國居住)。佢中二已經過左去英國，佢老豆係香港公務員，已經有政府的 "海外教育津貼"，但英國政府知道呢個漏動，於是年年改，年年加。如果學生家長在英國無物業，無交稅，純粹係過去留學，咁就只有醫療津貼，但學費都當係半個外國人，都好，比連居英權都無的還平一點。

如果連居英權都無，就真係百無啦，無醫療福利，無平學費。

而家唔知由無改，你要問清楚英國的學校。

可以讀英國的官立中學,不用學費,如果是寄宿官校則要付宿費,但寄宿官校不多.

Good state-boarding schools only amount to very few- even rank very high state boarding school e.g. Reading School can't compare with rank 100 independent school except for Cochester Grammar School-only admit 1 student from HK each year.

Albeit only two to three top state boarding schools in Uk are merited consideration, you should be aware of the following:

The state boarding schools will not consider application for over-aged students for under Year 13 class.

In UK, the entry for Yr 9 is 13 and for Yr 10 is 14. If your child is born on before Sept 1995, the state boarding school will reject your child's application for Yr 10 entry and he is only eligible for Yr 11 entry in 2010.

I think most HK students cannot fulfill this age requirement and the exception to this is limited to those under subscrbed low ranking state boarding schools.

Also, most state boarding schools would not provide boarding facilities during Sat and Sun.You should include the accomodation fee of guardian service of about 60 pounds every week.
