is it for your kid?
I myself is a full time tutor who teaches grammar and writing. Most of my students are from international schools and some from DBS and St. Jo. My experience is it depends on the understanding ability of the student in English. So it's not which language I use to teach them; instead, it's how precise I explain the theories and correct them immediately whenever they make a mistake. Further, exercises that suits the individual student is determining too.

my son has joined the oral class (one lession in a week) at a english learning centre for 14 months, but I feel his english oral level is not good as I expected. Therefore, I plan to change another learning centre now. Pls advise. thanks!
