近期學校有大提琴班收生, 如果選中咗你個小朋友, 只要自費買大提琴就得, 唔使學費, 但點解都唔是好多人參加呢?
係咪要讀落先知有問題呢?.......

What is the problem of '參加學校樂團' ? My daughter is selected to learn Double Bass. Any comment on this?

參加學校樂團': 每星期有2日要參加排練(每次2小時)，長假期會有加堂排練。可能有D家長會覺得用好多時間彩排，同埋有D課外活動會因為撞期而唔可以參加。
我知道樂團缺乏大提琴同double bass，所以，學校應該捨得投放資源落去大手提琴同double bass到。

Oh I see... but I think we need to pay an effort no matter what we chose to learn. If my daughter would be lucky enough to join the school orchastra, I would be very happy ar!

But, I agree to your point that we need to give up some other ECA. TSL really provides lots of opportunities for the kids to learn.

Hi, Candencehsieh,

From the e-circular, the first class is on 1-Apr while the 2nd is 8-Apr. It should be held at 3:30-4:30 every Thursday.

Ops.... if you missed this circular, your kids would have missed the first class. Please catch the 2nd class which is held tomorrow!

Ops... but have you received the notice from the teacher. I think Ms. Tai delivered the notice with the acknowledge note to all selected students during the Test period (around 26 Mar)

If you didn't receive the note, maybe you could give a call to Miss Tai or Miss Soo next Monday and see if you could catch up the rest of the class.

It's a golden opportunity to let your kids try.

Hope your daughter get a place finally.

My daughter also started her Double Bass class this Tuesday. She likes it very much. The teacher is very nice and kind. She told them all about double bass - e.g. what makes up the sound, where it comes from... etc It really arouse her interest in learning an instrument.
