same here. I heard GHP is very demanding on academic, how about SPC?

I have friend whose daughter has finished Secondary at GH who claimed it is quite demanding in primay at GH and quite relaxed at Secondary while I also have friend graduated at SPK telling its quite relax at KG and primary but stressful at Secondary!

SPK is much much better than GH in terms of school fee and the banding of secondary school...it's more difficult to get in SPK

Being a parent with kid studying in SPK,
I must tell the school is very good.
With good management, good intention to offer the best to the children, ideal almost one-dragon through secondary.

Someone would also consider the public exam results between SPK and GH, which you can check if you are interested.

But it is also true that the curriculum for SPK is interesting to children yet quite simple.

I think parents of SPK need lots of input if you wish your child could catch up in the primary level.

GH kinder is new, so no one knows how is the curriculum, but I know GH primary is quite high in accademic demand.

I hope more parents with kids in SPK and GH could share!

If travelling is not an issue, then definitely SPK.
GH kindergarten is very new & there will inevitably be teething problems.
Also St Paul's Convent is a better secondary school than Good Hope.

SPK curriculum is quite simple, which may not be very well preparing children for their study in the primary session,
so parent's input is important.

Actually I did not did any research to understand how other SPK parents would prepare their chilren,
but as far as I know, many of my child's classmates attend extra curricular activities such as PTH, dancing, drawing, piano, etc,
and many parents also spend time on story reading to their children.
I heard some rumor that some SPK children also attend another half day kindergarten, but I'm not certain about it, and I do not do it myself.

Actually this is just normal for parents of other kindergartens as well,
even KV is so famous for being "pushing", yet their children also need to attend extra-curricular activities outside of the school.

So please all SPK parents relax and enjoy!
