有無家長8/5去victoria 面試呀?

My baby girl also will be interview on 9/5. I had already phoned to school why my girl interview so late, is she only will be on waiting list?
The staff said all small baby ( after born in August)will be interview separately.They also have chance to get in seat. I hope so!!

我都係打電話去先知道，不過她話遲少少會收到信，我bb8月尾出世，你那個呢?

My boy is a small B too, so will interview on 8 may. Will get further notice on April.

But I wonder if I dont join their 1yr 8mth playgroup, can I still get a placement for the 2yr old class ??

Actually I did apply for 1 yr old playgroup ... but never have a place for my boy.

The point is if BB not reach 2yrs old by Sept, then will go to 1yr8mth playgroup ..... but I am thinking not to go to Victoria for playgroup ... so, dont know if that affect the acceptance to 2 yrs old class

My baby girl was born in 0908. She also applied the playgroup since she was 7months old but still waiting the seat.So I joined Tutor Time since 1 year old. I also applied Learning Habitat PN but received the rejection letter ( no interview chance), so poor for small baby.

As I know Victoria they seperate small BB and big BB in PN. May because of this reason, the interview time is different. I did join their pg for almost a year, as the small bb PN classroom next to the pg classroom and I found that the teacher really nice and care every children especially to the small BB.

My girl is studying in kowloon Tong (suffork Road). It needs to be wait almost 2months to get in seat. The teachers are very nice but the school have some school holidays and public holidays even no lesson still need to full pay the school fee. The first registration fee $800 +one month school fee +one month school fee for deposit.

And also much better for children, as some of the small BB cry almost a whole month (last yr I met one cry to 3 months) as they are too small to school and teacher did spend more time to comfort them.
Most of my boy's classmate quit pg this month, there will be more seat release.

我諗大家唔駛咁緊張...我記得我大仔3/13 interview，都係差唔多2月尾先收到信(around 3個禮拜前度...），而家距離5/8都仲有個幾月，學校又都要忙住上次大b們interview之後既工作，應該冇咁快可以寄信或者通知...

study PG will get better advantage for interview as they are much familar with the environment. But it is not equal to they have better chance to reserve a seat for PN as it's totally depends on his interview's performance. As I know in Harbour Green Campus, 4 PN classes for coming year, they will group all the small Bs together in the same class. So 2 classes for Big Bs and 2 classes for Small Bs.

我今日聽個friend講, 佢地依家鍾意將小組班分一三五or二四, 等多d人去讀, 多d機會有人報佢地小學woh.

NO ar. Just some parent said that they have Mon,Wed,Fri offer or tue&Thu offer. But I like Mon-Fri much more.

我阿囡係0810出世, 上個月開始返Victoria playgroup, 上年9月開始返tutor time, 講真我覺得tutor time個playgroup好好多, 不過想讀維記PN, 唯有報埋佢個playgroup (雖然佢地話讀playgroup無入PN 嘅advantage, 不過比小朋友熟習下環境同模式都好!)

仲有, 1 year 8 months唔係playgroup, 係細b PN班, 大b PN班就係要足2歲.

Tutor Time 係英普, 即係一半時間英文一半時間普通話, 唔會好似維記咁個廣東話老師講講下又夾雜d英文! 每次1.5小時, schedule大概如下:

英文:
15 mins - circle time 唱歌做動作
15 mins - activities 有3樣唔同activities大家輪住玩, 通常有art, sensory table, 形狀顏色等table tasks
15 mins - playground玩gross motor games
15 mins - snack time
普通話:
15 mins - circle time 唱歌做動作
15 mins - activities

全程都好充實, 唔會一味free play

I don't know the exact breakdown by time.  The few times I've been there, they would do the following:

1. Short Free play (toys or activities on the table) while all the kids arrive and get ready
2. circle time with songs and dancing
3. art/ craft activities  (seen a lot of the work - a lot of painting, glueing but also making own aquarium with water bottle etc)
4. developmental exercise - e.g. walking on balance beam, passing balls with little friends, etc.
5. free play - prob about 15 min - play slides, dress up, read books, pretend play, play cars, other developmental toys up to the kid to choose
6. snack time - has a regular menu with all sorts of different food (parents get the menu of the month at the beginning of the month) - even Tofu soup or Congee!  Kids are also taught simple manners  at the table
7. circle time with stories
Total: 2 hours

The activities are split between the NET and Chinese teacher.  They switch at some point in the semester so the kids never get songs/ dance with only Chinese teacher for example.

My boy also got an offer from Funful (AM) at Durham Rd. But of course, if there is better offer, we will go for it la.

Vic今年因為k1、k2冇乜人走，直接影響開N1既數目。好似HMT o甘開得2班收唔夠50人，1班俾大B1班俾細B，成千人報咪得好少人有得讀。如果收一三五、二四就可以收多d人，出年升K1就可回復一至五

Vic o甘多人報都要讓班俾細B，唔似其他kinders如LH唔收細B，細B mum應讚吓Vic至係

8/5 is also the date for parents seminar for those who got offer in the eldery kid batch ....so, that day will be really busy for Victoria ....dont know why they arrange these two events on the same date ?
