Please advise, since I would like to transfer my girl from traditional local school to here,

1. Is the IB system running smooth?

2. How about the Chinese standard? I heard about that the it is similar to the local school, any dictation or test ?

3. How about the English standard? is it similar to the international school? any dictation or test? would they need to read more books by assignment?

4. How about the Maths standard? is it easier that the local school? would they cover all the topic of the text book?

Since my girl studies at the traditional local school, and even how she studies hard, still can't go to the middle of the whole grade, and her confidence starts to fall, also she always says that she is not good and smart in the competitive environment, in return she starts to talk less, I m so worried about, I want to change her to different educational system to study, I DO HOPE SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVICE OF THIS SCHOOL

Thank you Yau_Cheung. I feel a bit more confident about Vic now. What do you think of the value / morale being taught at Vic (Kindy or VSA)? I don't know for sure but from what I hear, seems like the kids tend to come from upper-middle class at least. I worry the kids will get a scewed view about the real world. Thank you.

小朋友在維記會讀得好開心；與其他本地學生比較，普通話&英文會話亦不錯。但與重視紀律的學校比較，維記的紀律相對較鬆，亦有媽咪覺得維記有很多spoiled kids；由於強調愉快學習，與傳統學校比較，維記學生書寫較少所以亦較弱。

Thank you Yau_Cheung. I have seen some spoiled kids from Victoria and that contributed to my concern. I do think family is important to instill the proper values but I worry the kids will be unhappy because other kids are better off. We're not a wealthy family so I don't want them to face this type of unnecessary pressure so young. Have you come across that?

教育小朋友當然係家校一齊做，但小朋友每日數小時係學校，始終會有不少影響。我既選擇係離開；如果有機會重新選擇，我亦不會選維記。

My boy also is accepted to Victoria's PN and I also struggle whether to let him go all the way up to VSA (otherwise may need to apply for K1 again).

I heard that among the first batch IB students graduated (only 4 actually) this year, one go to IVY League (If i remember correctly, it's North Western U), the other go to 1st Teir Canadian U
