阿仔做英文作句--Today,my mum buys me a toy car.
他的老師說錯,應是(buys)-->(bought)
但另一次又是作句--Today is Peter's birthday!He feels
happy.
老師說對.
我不太識分啊!有冇英文高手媽咪教教我,謝謝!

bought - 過去式因為事件已過去
feels - 開心一整天,不僅在過去的快樂, 用現在式

等我試下:

不要被"today" 這個字騙了,
Today, my mum bought me a toy car.
means 動作已一次過完成, 意思已complete
Today is Peter's birthday. He feels happy.
means Today is 一個時間的表達, 每年的這一天都會是Peter's birthday.
希望你明白不同之處

1. Today, my mum bought me a toy car.
2. Today is Peter's birthday! He feels happy.

The first sentence indicates that the action finished before the time of speaking.

The second sentence indicates that the status has happened during the day and is not yet finished.

第一句指購買玩具這個動作在說話的時候已經完成，變成了過去，所以用過去式。第二句指覺得開心是整天的意思，因為仍然是今天，尚未過去，所以用現在時。
