小兒今年小四,已考了flyer 十三盾,現讀緊KET,是否應等到五年級才考KET,好像升中要五、六年級那些証書才有用

Yes, according to my experience some schools only need you to provide P5 & P6's certificate.

I am sorry for asking your kid is studying general primary school.
It is general standard for P4 take KET.

I know some P2 student in DSS take flyer or P3 take KET exam.

If use KET cert for S1 place, I perfer PET cert. Actually, performance of interview and other activity are more important for S1 place.

My friend's kids now is S1, he have FCE cert in P6, other public cert. piano in grade7, good sports player and first 20% in school. He can talk well french. He is DSS P6 student.

He fail in free S1 school in first round, but accepted by many Top DSS school.

Finally, he take a free S1 place on Sep 2009 by knocking doorl. This school is top and not are first round selected school.

My friend & me can not find any reason of failure in first round. May be interview is bad.
