It is really good at teaching phonics. So, in the age before primary, I think it is worthy even it is very expensive.

But after my kid goes to primary, I dropped it because my kid has already built up good foundation in phonics.

Other than phonics, I found the other parts they teach (grammer, composition and comprehension) are just so-so.

My daughter started the phonics class there when she was 3 years old (K-1).

At first, the teacher only taught her phonics, then after the completion of the whole phonics class, the teacher started to teach her reading simple sentence.  I think when she was at K-2, she can read Oxford Reading Tree (early stage) by herself.  In early K-3, she started to make simple sentences.

But after she went to primary one, I think the help from Little Scholar wasn't that worthy when compared to the price I paid for.  That is why I quit.

Thanks for sharing..can you share at what age your kid can read? say, books with 1- 2 sentences per page? how long did it take learning at LS to reach this level?

My elder daughter's English is quite ...
