Any idea whether there will be any second round interview of RCHK and SJS?? If yes, any idea when it will be held? Overheard that the competition is very keen this year...

My son not yet got any invitation for interview, so worry whether he can get a seat from these IS

My son is not from ESF that's why I am so worry
I guess I better apply one or two for IS for him just in case

May be you can call the school. Do you know how keen of seats of both schools this year ?

I called before but this year they even won't tell your ranking in the waiting list

I think the chance for 2nd round interview is low cos' the school (ESF Kinder) informed us today that the primary schools over-interviewed (25%+ the available seats) this year and there is a long successful waiting list. Meaning even people give up their 1st round offers, their seats will first be taken up by the interviewed waiting list students.

For both RC and SJS, the deadline for the first round offer is 11 Feb. For further interview, if any, will definitely be after that date.

想問問大家: 我朋友已收到信通知唔收佢小朋友入讀, 佢想知其實再寫信卑學校可唔可以會有小小機會呢? 因為上次佢小朋友去完面試之後, 真係好中意間學校! 大家有冇其他堤議?

For both SJS and RCHK, they have not even interviewed all the applicants. In the school point of view, I guess they would rather give the chance to applicants that have not even got a first chance.
You might want to try writing to them in any case.

Out of the 140 direct offers from RCHK, I wonder how many of the applicants would give up their seats?

but there're still 50 on waiting lists, meaning at least 51 give up their seats, no chance for the rest of the applicants to be invited for 2nd round interview.
