聖保羅書院係冇校車
聖保羅書院校址係西環,係冇地鐵
可以係門口等小巴:8號/28號都可以到中環
再轉地鐵

I know there are some school buses running for the sceondary school, but they only operate in the morning, but not in the afternoon, since the boys got so many different after school activities.
My son is now in F3. If anyone have any qiestions, feel free to ask me.

Maybe not. It is a traditional type of teaching. However, my boy, starting from Form 1 upto now (he is in Form 3 now), does not have very many homework. They have a lot of quizes and tests, which i think is good, since those help them to do their revision.

Well, I think the music/instrument counts. If your son is learning an instrument, that definitely helps. St Paul has both Orchestra and Chinese Orchestra in school. As for PE, my son is in swimming team, but he was selected to go for inter-school competition. You do not have to be very good. Again, if your son is an athletic, it helps too.

Thanks for your immediate response. I also would like to know if the teachers there are caring enough to the students. Do the teachers welcome parents to contact them about the kids performance in school?

Oh yes, for sure. I think my son's this year form teacher is pretty good, since she really cares for their whole growth, not just the academic.

If your son is not problematic, the teachers will not call you. However, you are welcome to call them and ask questions. That what I did when my boy was in Form 1.

Besides, they have a Form 1 parents networking night for all Form 1 parents, organized by PTA.

其實各位不用那麼擔心, 大家的兒子已中一, 返學校有很多車可以乘搭 , 只要大約7:35-7:45 am 在中環麥當奴門口(交易廣場對面)乘搭綠色Van 55 (往瑪麗醫院) 或巴士(好似係4X) [因Van仔站與巴士站在同一地方, 略行前少少] , 綠色Van雖然有時要等3或4架車, 但於返學時很密, 不用擔心,
至於放學 , 學校會開後門, 過對面馬路有970巴士往油尖旺,班次很密 (但過了大約4:30 pm 放工時間會無位坐及班次疏落) ,
最後, 學校返學是 8:15 am , 放學3:30pm
以上是小小指示 , 若有錯可提出

As for the school buses, they are not operated by the college. To my understanding, if there are routes running to-and-from your area to the primary school, they will most probably have another bus for the college (I mean the secondary section).

I know that there is no school buses running between North Point and the college, that is there is no school buses running west of North Point to College, since the kids can ride the public transport. If you are living east of North Point, I think starting from Taikoo Shing to the far east side of HK Island, there are school buses.

I have a contact - Mr. Lee 9414-5339 from Taikoo Shing to SPC. (this is for the secondary section)

I have another contact - Ms. Man (of Jolly Bus Company) 9338-2130 to SPCPS. (for primary section)

Do you know if there is any public transport going from Kowloon Bay to SPC? There is a mom asking me about the route, but since I do not live on the Kowloon side, I do not have any idea.

Can you help please?

As for any school bus for the Kowloon side, as I said before the school buses for the secondary section only operate in the morning. When they go home in the afternoon, they still have to go by public transport. But I will ask around also. will let all of you know later when I have the answer.

你可以去金鐘站，係pacific place 門口好多車都會到SPC 23, , 40, 103, 40M... or 小巴，同一個位，唔駛走來走去，邊架車黎年就上邊架，半小時內一定到校。大個仔啦，比佢自己學搭車啦！

今早返工時係灣仔mtr見到一大班spc既學生, (我估佢地等埋一齊去比賽or outing). 於是我睇咗佢地一陣, 都覺得佢地幾乖.

星期四朝同老公去試車程, 由 Central 站 Exit Ａ (Exchange Square 出口) 去 MacDonald's 門前有架 55 號小巴, 上車至下車 (高街 SPC 後門) 只需7 分鐘.

當天是下雨的, 等小巴9分鐘, 但平時應該不用這麼耐, 估計5分鐘左右一班.

車上有3-4 個 SPC students, 好斯文吓, 其中二人互相認識, 只是細細聲傾計.

由於我們到達 SPC 時還未8 點, 便企對面望下D 學生:
全部頭髮及校服整齊, 斯文得來唔薯仔, 感覺良好!!

By the way, 見到鄰校 (聖士 xx堂)學生, 真是嚇一跳:
首先一男一女 (F3 - F4 左右), 拖住手返校, 旁若無人, 至門前才 "分手"; 跟住有一金毛男學生 (都係 F3-4 左右), 兩手 fing fing 沒有書包, 懶有型入校門...

直至 SPC school bell 響, 大門關, 我們在對面 Bus Stop 等車走. 突然聽到嘈雜聲加一堆粗口, 好奇望下, 原來金毛男被 Prefect 和校工押出校門. 金毛一邊 "自言自語", 一邊抽煙 ...

關於學生操行你可放心, 學校十分注意的, 就算學業成績好, 行為不好都會比扣操行分的.

To all parents, we all know that SPC is a very good college. However, if your son gets in, and does not work hard, his grades will not be good.
My point is, the quality of school is important, but the how hard he works is the most important of all.
As I said before, there is not much homework/projects in S1, and most of the boys go relax a bit. But don't let them go lazy. The extra time is need for reading, doing extra exercises, or attending weekend lessons such as those organized by CUHK or HKUST, etc, instead of lying in bed, or playing video games.

my son allocated to a band 1 school. I had a good impression of SPC students during interview today. They were very polite and proactive to take care the visited parents

Thank you. the information is very useful, I'll call the nanny bus to check. By the way, i tried the route this morning, it was a long queue of mini bus 55, i waited about 3 or 4 buses to get on.

SPC told us they will interview the student with result in Chi, Eng and Math at least 2 As and good conduct. My son shown his assignments to the teacher during interview, and they talked his works and awards. i think the student needs to show his confidence and why he wants to study in this school are very important during interview.

SPC is much better than the school without a proper English name. SPC has been established in HK for almost 160 years and it had bred leaders not only in HK but in China and all over the world. It has a very liberal tradition, students can enjoy the history, liberal culture and freedom in the school. graduates of the schools went to top universities in the world.
