hi granddelsol, may i know what is the reason behind?
Each kinder got their strength and weakness. in my mind, there may be discipline and primary school interview problem in victoria. Is it really the case ? From day 1, i like victoria especially they offer me mardarin + english class but heard too much -ve comment on it that make me worry...

I am struggling between staying at Victoria or go to St. Cat.

Cwng3: u mentioned a good point which Vic students may have problem in discipline when they attend P1 interview.  I think they get used to a "free free" style, for my son, he likes to sit on the floor to read book rather than on the chair.

I like the 50:50 English and Cantonese environment at Vic but a bit worry when it comes to the P1 interview.  St. cat, i have some friends are now in K2, i have heard 2 of them being asked to repeat K2 ........sounds horrible.

My son is studying at the victoria (HMT - PN), he loves to go to school since very beginning.  People said school fee is expensive but when you look at what they delivery to the kids, it's worth.

I like the teachers and staff so much as they care about the kids.  Teacher used to call the parents to give us the updates whenever it's necessary and of course for the parents to call too.

I am not worry about the discipline as i do believe it's more important for the parents to teach but not from the school only.  Finally, I do believe victoria really able to strengthen my son's laungage skill compare with KV lor. :D

Last time I went to the Parents' introductory talk (on the reg. day) ... the teacher said the school will never ask their students to repeat ... they said even if u request, they may not allow u to do so!

都唔係好horrible, 夠有人話讀讀下kv 要你中途離場連repeat choice 都無, 如終係以訛傳訛

I think discipline is the responsiblity of the parents, school assist us in some ways only

My girl is now in Victoria PN, she is very happy. The teachers are very caring and experience. A few weeks ago my girl fell down and have to have stitches on her head. Her teacher call my mobile and see how is my girl. I told the teacher to wash my daughter's hand with water rather than the alcohol because she may have allergy, her class teacher always remember that.

Maybe it's good that my daugher is on SC and KV's waiting list...so I don't have to think of switching for her

About the repeat thing with St. Cat, this is what i heard directly from my friend.

luckybug, which class is your daughter going to join ? My kid may join the Man/Eng afternoon class.

Hi Luckybug,

I am thinking if I should choose Man/Eng class for my gal next year. Now she is studying VHMT PN....

Should I just stay in Trilingual class? Do you think kids speak better Man/Eng in general if they are in Man/Eng class? Please advise!

May I know if your kid is studying K1 Eng/PTH or Eng/Cantonese classes? I need to choose between these two classes very soon....thank you!!!
