如果未知想學甚麼樂器或對哪一種中樂感興趣，可到「香港中樂團」的網站看看，他們有一個叫做"認識中樂齊齊揀"的課程，可以讓小朋友試一試自己喜歡哪種樂器。

I agree. There are a number of courses about Chinese musical instuments organised by the government but the competition is very keen. I have applied twice but never succeed.
Besides, you can seek the advice from your kid's music teacher, I believe she/he can give you invaluable advice.
