Any mum has experience with this?

Johns Hopkins started to partner with HKUST to offer summer school for talented youth last year (2009). But it was cancelled because of swine flu. So nobody has experience of this in Hong Kong.

Thank you very much - I've been waiting for feedback for a few days!

Since my kid is only 10, I would prefer to let him have course in HK rather than the States. So really desperate to get idea from someone - the cost itself is not cheap ya!

The teachers will be flying in from US, and the syllabus is supposed to be the same. So I think the quality will not differ much from the courses in US campus.

My kid will also join the HKUST one this summer.

I have checked with the staff in HKUST. It seemed that even our kids join the WCT in April & qualify for the basic requirement, it cannot catch their timeline for application in Mar 1 2010. Any other means to get qualify on time?

The staff of HKUST can also tell you all the ways that your kid can get qualified on time. Please phone them tomorrow.

Grade 5 是否等如 P5…不過小學生唔懂聽英文。

Grade 5 = Primary 5 of local school. Yes, courses conducted in English.
