Since we've encouraged him to do mental maths when it comes to payment so he is becoming more sensitive with numbers.

Anyway, my friend told me that he questioned his dad the same question when he was at my son's age (7) and his dad told him at the time that he will tell him so when he finds his 1st job and he never ask his dad the same question again. So I've told my son the same thing.
