HI,

各位家長,可否提供一些資料給我們這班來年子女將要就讀小一的家長,謝謝!

以我所知,學校的普通話的語言環境是很好的,未知英語方面是否一樣?音樂和運動的要求高嗎?是不每位學生都要有一項音樂和運動的強項?若來年要入讀,在這幾個月,我們要為子女準備什麼可讓他們較容易適應小一的校園生活,謝謝!

I suppose if your kid is not studying in a PTH/Eng class in kindergarten, you can let her/him join some Mandarin class, just to get used to the language.

For music and sports, you don't really have to worry about it as the school will ask P.1 students to join a music/sport class, give them exposure to different kinds of musical instruments and sports. Then the students can choose the musical instrument/sports that they like to join.

The school will arrange P.1 prep classes during summer holiday so that they can adapt to school life smoothly.

Does student need to pay extra money to learn sport or music? How much do we need to pay on activities per month?

It varies. For your reference, my daughter joins the school orchestra and it costs around HKD4000 for the whole academic year.
