Total 5 pages, 1 acceptance letter and 4 pages of form. Registration peroid 30-31, Dec and 2 Jan.

DBS, 但不是說英華不好, 只是DBS有更多資源去配合我個仔的發展, 而YW林校長的演說和interview的問題對我來講是終身受用, 給了我很多對教育孩子的啟發
我不會register YW, 希望留一個聖誕大禮給YW waiting list 的家長.

今年K3只有8個人讀, 已confirm 一個入DBS (my son), 一個入St. Paul Boy, 一個入 RC.

如果我那句「好學生到處受歡迎」令到家長不快，抱歉。
我的意思不是想說沒收信的不是好學生。
在有限的學位下，很多很多好學生落選。但在其他學校發展，不會改變他們仍是優秀的事實。

BTW, government only allow one registration for DSS school. Hope you can considerate our poor mum.

If there's vacancy after the registration, does anyone know whether the school will call the waiting list to fill up right after???
I believe someone will give it up if they got better offer. Years ago, my neighbor's son got LS in the first round and they eventually given up DBS.

你考到個兩間都係好學校, 不過最重要是要睇下小朋友跟學校culture 夾唔夾, 和小朋友在這個階段可唔可以接受30人一班, 偉思因為K1走得人多, 一班得十幾個人, 上到K3 已經不足十人, 可能因為人少, 所以對個個小朋友都可以照顧得好好, 特別對情緒不穩的小朋友有幫助, 人少也做就了代校出賽的機會, 奧數比賽人人有份, 只要你肯去就可以了
N1 上 K1 真係年年都走好多人, 人走我走, 我都試過, 但最後都要放棄一間幾難考到既中區名幼稚園番偉思插班讀K1

轉幼稚園時有無問過自己想要咩野呢? If you know what's your pain, you will know how to plan.

If there is sb no show, DBS will call the boy who is on wait list for the 3rd interview and then fill up those offers.

This is what I'm struggling too .... do kids have an advantage getting into those famous primary sch if they;re from those "famous KG" or ... it is the family education (means parents training / education on values) that matters more?

多謝你的寶貴意見, 我都知一間完美嘅幼稚園係學術與德行兼備, 小班教學, 老師有愛心, 有競爭力上好嘅小學, 但談何容易! 自問都唔係勢利嘅媽咪, 另選兩間都係好學校, 老師質素都有保證, 而對偉思有保留是因為談論升小的媽咪唔多, 數據不足, 對於放眼直資/私小嘅我, 好似有d冒險, 而且其資源(如電腦室, 圖書室)的確不及此兩間, 我亦唔係完全無考慮偉思, 會認真再唸一吓! 此為DBS forum, 不便多談, 若再有問題, 可pm你嗎? 先謝!

入唔到都唔使太失望。其他學校一樣出到人才。
同一個好有條件的人結婚，可能到頭來發覺大家並不適合對方。
找一間適合自己孩子的學校吧。

我反而係掉番轉.. 我之前其實有打算比佢返教會, 有朋友叫我返同埋話介紹教會中一個朋友比我認識,佢可能幫到吓呀仔. 由於唔想引起誤會, 所以一直冇返.. 我信神, 如果咁樣做, 好似欺騙咗佢, 但呢d只係我個人觀感而已..
你亦講得對, 個朋友真係話有父母本來去教會只為宗教分, 結果一家都信主. 祂自有主意
