各位好心的家長, 本人都很喜歡英華小學, 所以有沒有家長可以分享今年剛完成的面試內容, 等我可以有一個參考機會. 謝謝幫忙

I can only share with you the 2nd and 3rd interview as my son did not tell me the 1st interview content.

1st interview - group interview with teachers

2nd interview - group interview with principle
- kid need to bring one Chinese and one English book.  The principle will ask the kid to read one page of the book (kid can choose to read chinese or Eng).
- there were some games or exercise but it was not the same for every group
- the one my son did :
1. principles show him 2 sword which has different colour when turn on
2. give him some stickers and ask him to locate the card
3. give him a dino in which the head and the tail are in wrong position.  Then ask him why the dino can't stand up.  Then she will fix it and explain the login to the kid

3rd interview : individal interview with the Principle.  Parents require to attend
- the principle will ask the details of 2nd interview.
pls note that she asks in a very detail manner e.g.
- how many stickers I have gave you
- what is the colour of the gun when turn on
- what was the dino look like when I shown you
- what did she do to fix it
- what book you have read last time
- how many kids with him during 2nd interview

question to parent :
- why you pick this school as I live in HK island
- how you and your husband train up the kid
She will ask both the mother and husband
- e.g. I told her why I like the school, she then ask my husband if he feel the same
- what are the stregthen of my son
- who give him his name, why
- how many kids I have

Thanks for sharing!!! But I still have some more questions about the interviews.

Questions about 2nd interview:
- Did the child read the book in front of other children?
- What kind of games or exercise did your son play?

Questions about 3rd interview:
- Did the parents stay all the way with the child during the 3rd interview?

Other questions:
- Was the 2nd interview & 3rd interview conducted in the same day?
- How many rounds of interview result will be released in the whole selection process?
- Did the teacher/headmistress ask questions in English or Mandarine? Any question about Maths?

How about other mami? Could you also sharing the content of YW interview, please!

I am pleased to answer the questions in red:

Questions about 2nd interview:
- Did the child read the book in front of other children?  YES
- What kind of games or exercise did your son play? the games are testing the children basic knowledge & common sense in daily life!

Questions about 3rd interview:
- Did the parents stay all the way with the child during the 3rd interview?  YES

Other questions:
- Was the 2nd interview & 3rd interview conducted in the same day?  2nd interview is 1-2 weeks after group interview.  3rd interview will be granted only after you can enter final 300 candidates.
- How many rounds of interview result will be released in the whole selection process? 2 rounds (Final 300 , then final 150 accepted for coming year enrollment)
- Did the teacher/headmistress ask questions in English or Mandarine? Any question about Maths? Cantonese for 2nd & 3rd interview
