2007年的研究指出, 輕度至中度弱聽中童的發音及語法都不及同年齡的弱聽兒童。而語言測試結果顯示，弱聽程度越深，語言測試分數越低。

(Delage, H. & Tuller, L. (2007). Language Development and Mild-to-Moderate Hearing Loss: Does Language Normalize with Age? Journal of speech and language and hearing research, 50 (5), 1-14. )

所以, 建議就算是輕度至中度弱聽的兒童，最好都是預早訓練，減少弱聽對他們語言發展的影響...

訓練方面, 你可以打電話去2311 2828, 峰力有為任何年齡(包括嬰兒)、任何弱聽程度的兒童都會提供訓練, 一個星期一次

Training ears, or "auditory-verbal therapy", will train children to use hearing to learn langauage and speech. Language, including receptive language (理解). Training would focus on training the children to understand language through listening, so to maximize the development of ear, or "listening part of their brain", where the children are weak at due to hearing impairment.

另外....根據我所知, 宣美應該都會收輕中度弱聽的小朋友...

你小朋友幾多歲, 有沒有戴機?

一邊耳仔輕度到中度都無戴機? 有無問過Second option?

一般來說, 輕度弱聽, 有些家長會選擇唔戴機....(如果語言發展沒有受影響的話...)
但...輕度至中度也沒有戴機嗎？聽力學家說沒有需要?

Suggestions
A. Find ST to have assessment on speech and language, and/or
B. Training at Phonak by Auditory-Verbal Therapist (聽覺言語訓練). Therapist would train parents to do training at home with child to maximize hearing development and minimize effect of hearing loss on speech and language development.....
