其實都冇乜話特別幾多歲學嘅...
你如果小朋友啱啱學phonics嘅時候
都係唱吓發音歌仔...用發音嚟玩小遊戲...
其實細細個可以慢慢畀佢接觸吓!! ^^

My daughter started learning jolly phonic at school when she was 4+.

I recommend http://www.starfall.com (free)

when children start upper primary or secondary, they may learn IPA.

Should be at 3.
But if your kid used to speak a lot of English at home, she can learn it earlier.
My girl start learning when she is 2yr4mths

Agree! My son shows his interests in alphabet. After he recognized and learnt all the letter name, he started remembering all the letter sounds. He is able to read and spell with phonics rules when he is just 2.5. So, it is not the problem of age, but whether your kid shows interests in it.

yes!

I bought some letter cards / magnetic letters, and play cat/pat/sat/kat/dat/fat/hat with my boy.. just a few times. Then somehow, i found he can pronouce most of the words by himself (of coz not 100% correct.. but good try!)
