我仔依家KV同SC都WAITING LIST, 真係晚晚瞓唔著, 好內疚點解唔幫個仔報多幾間 (雖然現時就讀的幼兒園已留了位, 但始終係用來BACK UP ONLY), 希望各位已有心儀學校收了的媽咪, 體諒下我地, 唔好到到都留位, 等我地WAITING LIST的小朋友快些有著落啦, 多謝!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand some parents may need some time before they can decide but once you have decided, please kindly notify the kindergarten directly to withdraw those you are no longer interested.

Some kindergartens may require formal letter for withdraw.  For your convenient, I have a sample here so you can refer to:

退學通知書

考生編號: XXXXXX
學生姓名: XXX  XXXXXXX

致    : XXX幼稚園,

本人的女兒XXX 於2009年XX月X日獲貴校取錄，但因同時間獲得另一間離家較近的學校取錄，為了方便孩子的上下課，我們最後選取了這間學校。特發此信，通知取消學位，以便貴校可以盡早安排其餘備取生入讀。

再一次多謝
貴校給予我女兒機會。

2009年XX月XX日

Very touching to see many parents who are willing to give up the offers so early to help other waiting-list parents.

Last year because all the offers we received are separated by 1-2 weeks so we have to pay the deposit whenever an offer came. Particularly because the better offer came at later time so we don't want to take the risk to give up the earlier offers.

However, when I want to release the offers and call each kindergartens and find that it was not as easy as I want to get it done just by a phone call. It is quite a hassle to try to write a Chinese letter (judging by my bk posts, I guess everyone know my Chinese is not that good!) and finally found some samples from bk and edited by my wife to have it done. So hopefully the sample I post can help the parents a bit. I guess it is really okay to copy a letter of withdrawl and the kindergarten won't mind having the same format from different parents

Hi ginnyyue, I've paid the deposit of St Johannes as well but still struggling whether this is a good one as I saw some bad comments about its primary school.

Any idea?

Back to the topic of this thread, I am very think that as a mother, we should support each other as we're on the same boat - running here and there for our kids. I just want to say that pls don't give up even though u cannot get an offer fm the KG in KLN Tong. Lots of non-KLN Tong KGs are good, especially in the development of kids' moral. Suggest these mamis to go for those KG to secure a seat first. GOOD LUCK!!

Have seen many parents in BK have no offers and still waiting, we all being parents should understand their feeling.

Please don't register KG if you are not interested. You may think in this way, paying registration deposit first will only delay the date you need to make the decision but no helps at the end.

I didn't pay $660 to reserve K1 seat of my girl's own kinder, hope others can have more chance. Once get good news from another school before Feb, will release antoher good offers.

Anyone knows will schools held 2nd in for waiting list kids or just call them to register?

我諗SC學費貴都係考慮之一($3800-$4000),不過我都會俾囡囡讀SC...因為我想佢有一個良好的語言環境學習,我會放番YORK/ST NIC/TT出嚟...
