Very good results for your son...would you mind sharing what type your son belong to as the schools mentioned below are quite different, GT focus on creativity, RC, YW is more traditional, DBS like more active style etc.

Any special preparation or strengths your son has?

已取錄小學：聖士提反女子中學附屬小學、聖嘉勒小學、德雅小學、聖母小學、救恩學校、九龍禮賢學校、啟思小學、九龍真光中學(小學部)

備取錄小學：德望學校（小學部）、聖士提反書院附屬小學、香港真光中學（小學部）

不取錄小學：優才(楊殷有娣)書院、港大同學會小學、保良局陳守仁小學、聖保羅男女中學附屬小學

估計不取錄小學（應考時患流感）：拔萃女小學、保良局蔡繼有學校

我想囡囡已很努力，但又不是天才寶寶，我倆也不是Doctor, barrister, investment bankers, 所以入不到部份「超級名校」也只會用平常心面對。

然上主也真的很照顧我們一家，給了我們聖士提反女子中學附屬小學這最好的offer（因媽媽並非Old Girl）

請問你自行收生幾分抽到聖士提反女子中學附屬小學? 是否有宗教分? 呢間學校只接受聖公會的受浸紙.

是首名子女 + 聖公會領洗紙（但無計過即係幾多分），但放榜前的星期五打電話去問，校務處姐姐話今年Old Girls’ 子女報讀極多，像我們這些不是Old Girls的是百幾二百人只能抽剩下的不足10個位，所以叫我要有心理準備….。

當然您可以當我們是「夠運」，但以從不甚有抽獎運的人而言，我會選擇相信是上主的安排。

聽到這裡，我倆身為父母的都有點眼泛淚光了…。

Offers: true light, raimondi, st. clare
2nd in: DGJS (not expected to get an offer)

1st round: St Paul's primary catholic school (15 marks)

Done so much to apply for the school and at the end, the offer from the 1st round allocation seems to be the best at this moment......

其實真實的情況是，除了DGJS外，囡囡每次interview完出來都係話「好好玩呀！」或是「真係好好玩呀！」。而且我地又會用說話及貼紙讚她做得好的地方，（做不足的地方就不會現場講，只會在家中遊戲時開心地remind一下她）然後真係會帶了她去玩！這樣make sure每次面試對囡囡都是一次開心愉快的經歷。

否則，像我那次與囡囡親眼所見的「奇景」，就真係見一間都嫌太多：是在聖士提反書院（赤柱）的面試等候區前，一個小女孩眉頭深鎖，額上的「火車軌」比我的還要多，原來是她的爸和媽、分別在她的左右耳邊NICAM疲勞轟炸「記得講爸爸是會計師」、「記得要拍好椅」、「記得要講您聖誕節去了紐西蘭」…. 、「記得要笑」。當然，那女孩進去和完成後都沒有笑。

So, I think it is really about creating a positive experience for our daughter.

As to “why” we should help our beloved daughter to interview so many schools, it is simply because of three words: unpredictability, prudence, and confidence(building).

Have not/Will not register in 3 of them. Have already "released" the other 3 of them by informing the schools of our decisions. That just left two for now (as for why we have to leave one more, it is because we are still plea for their acceptance of our "younger" daughter in their K.1)

wow....how did you manage the interview schedules. There must be time clash among schools. I remember I had to call some schools to re-arrange interview, some could and some could not re-arrange. And tehre were 3 interviews a day for my son and he said he was tired on teat day

What you have said is very true. We did stick to the rule of only 2 schools per day, with the exception only one morning, during which we have two interviews within the same district with reasonable time gap between them (in our daughter's case, it was 8:45AM and 11:00AM).

And its also true that we had to reschedule some of the schools to other time, and resulted in "No" or "Waiting" from some of the schools affected as listed before.

It involved very tedious and careful planning on parents' part --> It was really hard work for us.

Just never, never made it so for our daughter, and I think that was the key to our daughter's very positive experiences during the whole course of interviews.

我好懶, 只考真正心儀的學校, 囝囝只考了禮賢和真光, 連profile都無做, 又唔駛second in , 都幾好彩, 兩間都收左

Well, I am the father....

But of course my wife did the larger part of this endeavour, she is the chief "trainer" for the interview (except for the English part which I would took over) and responsible for briefing our girl about different characteristics of various schools.

I would be the one to mind the time schedules and did the logistics (you know, looking at interview requirements, planning the routes, knowing about how the system works and comparing the schools, etc.).

So it was quite a team work, with the center of which being our lovely daughter of course!!
