如題, 本人打算明早去報,但明早又要返工,雖則都係中環,但都想知要預幾點鍾去排,有無人可以講吓??THANKS~~

If based on last year, the number of submissions is about the same on both days. So please take note of it. I think it also depends on how many kindergartens have interviews tomorrow.

my husband arrived there at 9:15 and left around 10:30, haha, the quening time just like st paul and pui ching, the interview time is in the afteroon at 9, Jan.

I feel strange that someone arrived there later but can get an early time to interview, anyway, hope that all of us can get the offer of this school!

我10:30am左右到, 都係排咗1hr, 9/1 3:30pm interview. 但見到真係有人遲過我哋都in得早啲嘅, 真係唔明佢哋點安排, 不過我見老師整理啲form時, 估計起碼過千份呀

me 2 ar. I lined up before 10:30am & the interviewed was scheduled on 3:30pm. How come?

My guess to explain why some submitted their forms late but have a earlier interview time is because the number of applicants are high this year so the original planned interview sessions run out and the kindergarten need to added new classrooms for the interview so these can become earlier interview time.

This also explains why those submit around 10-11am is already in the afternoon sessions since there are many people submitted ahead of them earlier in the morning.

i arrived around 1030, left on 11:45.

it's my 1st time visit this school. can anyone share your opinion on its environment as i found out the school is on the basement? does it mean no outdoor playgroup and limited space inside the school?

personally, i dont like it takes a long walk with so many stairs from front entrance down to the school. it seems a bit dangerous for kids.

if the whole premise is under the basement, will it be too hot or limited fresh air as HK is really hot and humid in the summer time.

Actually, the children are quite careful on the stairs and without big accident, it means all the kids are well-behaved and won't be too naughty to push people around in this kindergarten.

Which floor did you visit to submit the application form? It is not really a basement but it is just underneath Robinson Road. If you look up from Caine road, then all the floors are not underground so there are plenty of windows. You know in HK island buildings are built on hill so it may looks like underground to you but it is actually not the case.

yes. i checked the website before and read the information from the website. so, i'm quite satisified with the environment and submit the application for my girl.

but today, it seems not a nice environment. actually, i dunno which floor i was taken to as i only queued up and submitted the form on the 1st floor i guess.

actually, i've a little boy as well. SH is my 1st choice. i'm planning to let my girl (if get the offer of coz) study at SH and my boy follows. on K2, my boy tries St. Joseph. Do you think this plan ok? hehe..

There is a playground on the floor (5/F) you submitted your applicaton today. Though it is not very spacious, the area is more than enough for the kids to play around. Normally, half of the class (15) will be asked to play there at one time. They can ride bicycles, play slide, 呼啦圈, 掉豆袋, etc. They will have fun there. So don't worry about the outdoor facilities.

Everything has its good and bad. Walking stairs could be dangerous, on the other hand, it is a healthy exercise. I like my daughter walking the stairs up and down, it makes her stronger and now she can walk the stairs very well.

The kinder always keep the windows opened, the air is fresh. It is not hot at all, indeed, it is quite cool in winter time as it is located at mid-level.

Today I take bus 12 to SH, feel very UNWELL, if for school bus or nanny bus, the route would be from 花園道? more directly?

Certainly the school bus won't be running the route like no. 12 bus!

However, it depends on which direction the school bus come from to use Garden Road. The route for no. 12 is to pass through as much area as possible so it is very indirect.

My chance is low even though my daughter is a big girl as I saw most of the applicants are catholic.
In fact, I love this school very much.

i lined up at Fri 7:00a.m. and interview schedule is 9:00a.m. jan 9.......by the way, how is the interview? will formally ask the kid question or observe them to play???

因為姐姐都係度讀緊，覺得學校幾好，係有心教小朋友的學校。
始終學校都係有名氣的傳統名校，相信弟弟將來出去考小學都有多少優勢啦～

Hi, Ian. I live in Tuen Mun & wondering this would be one important point for considering my application...Anyway, we just do our best in the interview la.

By the way, I would like to see if you know they use "The Berenstain Bears" series story book to teach the children manners coz I found the Berenstain plush toys in the school area? My daughter loves this series very much. They are really good books indeed.

Though lots of stairs, the school environment is nice which I can feel the warmth & happiness.

School buses officially organized are available only in HK island. However, there are certainly privately organized nanny bus for TKO to SHCK.

I must be frank that I haven't heard of any students from Tuen Mun in SHCK but I can be wrong. With the railway system we have nowadays, the distance from one place to another is much closer now than ever before. Anyway, I believe just focus on doing your best in the interview will be the most important.

Concerning the "Berenstain Bears" , I need to ask my daughter since I haven't heard of it.

Yes I also know there are students in Shatin too as they need nanny bus to go to school. The girl from Cheung Chau is taking the same school bus with my daughter.
