My girl is on PM waiting list... 
My girl did follow all instructions but she didn't say a word during the interview. Believing this is the reason for unoffering her a place.
By the way, do you know there is any chance in getting a seat for waiting list?
Do they put all rejected on the waiting list? Are they do sent decline letter to the rejected applicant?

I gathered bits and pieces of the information from different sources.
1. they have 120 places for am + pm classes
2. their primary school is English focus plus Mandarin and Cantonese (for non-core subjects)class
3. they have native English teachers
4. they guarantee direct entrance to their Primary school. I read it from a notice board on the interview day but can't find it in their website. However, I read other topic about this school and a parent confirmed this.
5. gut feeling is that this school is strict without too much pressure for homework, my friends commented their students as polite and well behaved. Their secondary school is isolated therefore girls have no chance to know boys from other schools and nowhere to go after school.
Anyway, that's just my own opinion and comments from my friends. My apology if any info is incorrect.

she is a big daughter. She answered all questions during the interview, but those are just simple questions like who brought you here, do u like this school, etc. She also said thank you when the teacher gave her a sticker.

真光同st claire 我個囡都有報. 真光好處係學校大兼設備完善. 反而 st claire 比較舊. 真光地方非常清潔.
但相對語言0黎講, 相信st claire 係外國語言較好, 就如另一位家長所講, 佢0地好著重英
文, 好注重創造一個英語學習環境比小朋友... 0的仲會學埋法文.
而真光比較偏向traditional, 中文比較強...
各有好處, 視乎你要求同偏重...

Frankly, I am not very familiar w/ Good Hope but as far as I heard from my friend, it is a very traditional Catholic school and expert students are good in education and sport or music performance...

I think we are all in the similar situation as to choose between GH/SC and St.Clare. It is a hard decision for me to make.
In fact, my elder daughter has also been accepted by St. Clare Primary for next year, it is therefore my preference for both of my girls studying in the same school.
Unfortunately, my elder girl is only on waiting list for GH and therefore, we might consider to give up the GH place for my younger one. I don't know it would be fair to my younger daughter by giving up a place at GH as I think GH is a better school.
Any suggestions or opinions?

This topic has been asked many many times. I suggest u ask yourself what kind of school you are looking for your daughter, and I believe both school are good. Kau Yan is Chinese and St Clare is English based.

首先離一離題...........真光係唔傳統的, 幼稚園非常活動tim(無測無考無默100%直升), 小學就會傳統返, 如果真係要比較, 個人感覺, st clare's會比真光嚴謹
我女係真光幼稚園出黎, 當年都有考st clare小一, 俾我印象好深, 係當我地2公婆o係校務處門口等, 有個sc小學生入黎校務處, 當時佢望一望我, 然後好有禮貌咁點頭, 無出聲, 繼續去校務處做佢要做既事
係小小lady, 定係拘謹, 呢樣就留返俾家長決定喇
st clare's中學係津中, 所以小六生唔會100%直入, 當然小學部學生會比街外人易入返中學部(因為直屬中學既關係)

我都覺得好難搵到st clare既資料, 似乎st clare既家長好少o係bk分享。所以我自己打左去問一d關於課程既野, 所以未必答到你。
1/ kg會有好多工課嗎?英文同國語是否每日都有?有幾多分鐘? >> 由外籍老師教既英語課一星期兩天, 每節25分鐘, 一節phonics, 一節英語活動。平日都會有英語教授小朋友, 由班上老師負責, 要視乎主題, 因此未必天天有。普通話好似係一星期一天, 唔係好記得。
2/ 讀完kg一定入到小學嗎? >>小學係私小, 所以應該係, 不過我唔係學校, 唔敢肯定。
其實你都可以自己打去問, 學校d職員老師好好, 答得好詳細。
3/ 讀完小學一定可以入到中學嗎?>> charlotte_mom已回答。

我都係大坑真光同st clare 之間爭扎緊
好高興兩間都收我個女am class, st clare 亦留左位
main concern 係st clare 一開始便全女, 而我現在則懷胎六個幾月係囝, 如果家姐上st clare 便幫唔到細佬, 但st clare 係我好心儀既學校(主要英文底子好).... 最多到時再幫細佬揾學校... 但真光kg 則男女我地唔洗煩...
可否比d 意見呀!

我果2件脫離左bb階段好耐
個女都小4啦, 以前讀真光, 有考st clare's小學不過最後又唔係真光又唔係st clare's (去左港同)
個仔.......由於講野慢又bb, 去左讀一間唔出名既nursery, 雖然名氣唔夠但老師好有愛心, 出年都係去港同
因材施教, 每個小朋友都有最適合既學校, 人地話好, 唔代表係對自己小朋友最好, 呢樣係真心既, 總之要做多d功課搵間最適合既俾小朋友

你好, 我囡囡今年9月開始返pm班, 我住西九龍, 本周六交書本費, 睇吓有冇其他小朋友可以一齊包校車.
