Any one accepted by 明我幼稚園(西灣河)? will you plan to let your child to study there? why? any other choice?

It seems that most of children from 明我幼稚園(西灣河) will go to基灣小學.

Most of children from奧運校 will go to油天小學.

If you like the 2 primary schools, then 明我 is a good choice.

I don't know the primary school connections of 迦南. I am not living at 奧運. But my friend living there told me that there is connection between 明我 and 油天.

You better find out the percentage of students from 明我 to 油天 if you like 油天 before make the decision.

I has not yet decided. My son was also accepted by victoria, just don't know how to choice. I am afraid Dominic S is too difficult but afraid if victoria can't connect with usual primary school, but victoria is of course very expensive! The campus of Dominic S is very old indeed.

係咪真係同基灣有連係呢?我都覺得它的校舍比較舊!!
但好多人都說它歷史悠久,好學校,但課程有點深...
你哋點睇呢 ??有冇人讀緊西灣河明我呀??

我就唔知兩間邊間好, 但我就揀咗迦南放棄咗明我, 因為我覺得interview佢地太過混亂啦! 同埋地方感覺上比迦南差d, 而我自己本人覺得迦南個名響過明我囉!

明我課程深唔深我就唔係咁清楚，但我曾經睇過一個topic話明我唔係太好，話普通話班學完等於無學過，我自己都會揀油天，但我自己就會讀迦南啦！

sometimes it depend on what type of children your child is, some getting well with the cirriculum, some even can't seat well in class, so may be complained by teacher, they like child very polite and obedience.

我個囡現在讀緊K3, 在過去3年所見, 程度上無可否認是比較深, 尤其是K3, 程度及得上小一有餘, 所以如果想入基灣或其它區的有名小學, 則可以選讀。
但有一樣嘢希望所有家長必須記住, 就是它們的老師沒有太大愛心, 可以對小朋友講一些恐嚇的說話, 例如：如果小朋友哭, 她們可以說如果不再收聲, 不會讓家長接妳放學, 就是這樣令到我的小朋友不想返學, 回校問她的班主任, 她們可以說沒有講過什麼, 要我再三追問才勉強說出原因。
另外它們的考試是另一問題, 它們可以給你們一個考試時間表, 說明那日考什麼, 但仍然可以不按時間表的內容考試, 鍾時邊日考什麼就考什麼。
最後, 它們是一定不會為準小一學生寫推薦信, 還可以說出聽來很好聽的理由, 及聽其她學生的家長講, 她們比較小器, 除非你們的小朋友很標青, 如果唔係就......

I have a friend whose son study in 明我幼稚園(西灣河). She said that the principal told the parents : If you cannot 派位 to 基灣 after finished K3, I can write you a reference letter.

She also said that 基灣 prefer 明我 students. Don't know it is true or not.

But she said that she will not let her son to study in 基灣 because it is a pushy school.

但我識人真的派得唔好喎~
佢比明我迫到死,因為好多功課,又深,
當時一提圯返學,佢就喊,真係陰功,
小朋友咀,不過佢成績都幾好的,但學校逼得太緊,
咁細個就好大壓力~

I decided to let my child to study in this school. After I seen my nephew's homeworks, books and exam cirriculum in P1, I think Dominic S is very good. my nephew only study a very normal Primary, not that famous and diff already, I think it is a norm for P1 with this accademic level. I will try to let my child do more other extracirruculum activity, to play more apart from study, so he can balance.
