宣小今個星期六面試,學校網頁睇到只係須要in小朋友, 包括小組及個別, 有冇家長可以分享吓過往面試問題, 會問D?

係咪好多人已有offer, 唔去呀?

my son won't go for this sat interview bcos he is really very sick.

fever, stuffy noise, cough and laryngitis and no voice at all !

我仔上年有去IN, WAITING LIST 但最終無收.
感覺是學校做台戲, 有被玩的感覺.
根據我仔陳述:

一入到課室老師要佢用中文寫自己的名字.
然後拿了一幅晝出來, 要小朋友用英文回答問題.

沒有考普通話同數學.

They don't have 2nd interview arrangement. How did they select the qualify children from those 1000+ candidates by such simple interview???? I wonder they have their own internal list.

I think so, every school has their own list, so interview is no meaning at all.

還記得 in 宣道幼稚園時, 宣幼老師講過宣小只收50% 宣幼學生, 咁大家諗下仲有幾多位俾外來幼稚園生申請呢 ??

1. my son is very sick this week. fever for 4 days already.

2. we have got offers
3. heard abt lots of project-based assignments at 宣小 and heavy workload to parents. very scared.

宣小校長曾講過, 佢承認學校係多嘢做, 多嘢學, 但小朋友學得嚟會好開心去學, 係學校係開開心心的, 有時你唔比佢返, 反而係小朋友自己唔肯...

To be honest, I think item 3 will be happened in most of Pri Sch........

project-wised assignments, yes, more than SFA.

my ex-colleague son studying in SFA, just chatted with him today. he said SFA assignments mainly done by his son, he doesn't need to spend too much time with him on homework. but revision, test, exam, etc, his wife spend time with the kid.

My girl is studying in APS P1 this year..But she said the teacher asked her a Maths calculation by verbal during the interview suddenly..Maybe your son cannot answer this suddenly maths question..

舊年的情況:去到門口見到好多人,唔會有好多空位比你企,校工會請家長同學生首先在門口分面試時段排好隊,差不多到你Interview的時段才准排隊上禮堂坐,我地都係兩位家長陪住上禮堂,不用擔心!囝囝考完出泥透露不多,只係講老師用英文問他愛吃什麼,他答 I like water melon.

ilym,
when it comes to S1, to apply via exam results and interviews, then the primary school region doesn't matter much! so it depends on the student performance by himself.
that s why you can see so many kids at SFA applying to co-ed, paul boys, LS etc, not in the same region at all.

my son told me the teacher asked him to write his chinese name on a piece of paper, then show him two pictures and asked him some question about the picture in english. the teacher also asked him to spell 'green', subtractions and additions, common questions like his name, which school he's in and where is it ... at last he drew a picture and got a candy.

我有個好朋友在呢間學校教書.
佢地有一套準則去比分(interview).
上年佢個niece都無收, 佢話主要原因係當問佢平時邊個教做功課, 放學邊個揍呢類關於家庭問題時, 小妹妹好老實回答係婆婆湊, 放學就睇電視/休息(我唔多記得, 總之唔係睇書做功課), 等媽咪放工(好夜)先做功課.... 所以, 佢呢一項就好低分. 唔收!
(*以上例子只供參考, 我估未必一定要full time mum有著數, 主要係睇家庭點樣support小朋友的學業和其他活動吧~)
