有無家長的小朋友在這間幼稚園畢業o架。
請話我知。

多數讀邊間小學就唔知，知道有12個入咗SPCCPS ，我個friend 囡囡係其中一個，有啲入SSCPS，St Paul boys', DGS, 小朋友好多都有幾間收。
當然亦有直升小一，總之就好好。

Actually how many AM +PM +Full day K3 students? Are there all together 3 classes? My boy is now in their pre-nursery but I don't have much ideas about their primary allocation and their no. of students there.

Besides, how's their level of Chinese and Math in K3?

I think their academic level isn't very high (陸博士出品), anyway it's a happy and good school, esp. good manner. I think that is why most of the students are outstanding.

Oh yes probably under Dr. Luk's theory, children should enjoy school in kindergarten. Teachers there are really good, caring but as well train kids manner in a good way.

I have 2 friends whose kids are studying there. They said they have never heard of. They told me another story - most of the parents putting their kids there do not prefer traditional schools. The kinder itself is not like Kx, St. X..., it is less academically drilled.

Is SPCCPS referring to St Paul Co-Edu? If so, 12 got accepted to St Paul Cp-Eud is an excellent result la.

我都識人入左spcc, 但爸爸係舊生加上一早做晒"功夫", 都係患得患失, 最後得左佢都鬆一口氣
嶺南係happy school, 好多學生都來自比較well-off家庭, 同d名校有connection唔出奇, 但我唔覺得係嶺南kinder itself令到d學生入名校 (no offence!)

depends on your definition of "famous school"......no big problem to go 高主教、培正, etc...but of cuz, less chance go to St Paul, DBS, etc...or u have to spend a lot of $ and time to further train up...

Well to be fair, even those more "famous kindergarten", their students who got admitted to co-ed, DBS, DGS, who knows if they actually got connection, or their parents spend a lot of money, and/or alot of time to drill and nurture their own children, and maybe some credits should go to the kinder itself. I believe this is the same as for "bo shan". Anyway, mostly known about 嶺南 is it's not well known for its academics, as compared to those on KLN side.

K1-K3 AM got 3-4 classes, the others I don't know. You can ask your son's teacher by phone. By the way, they will invite parents to attend their Christmas performance, you can count.
After K1, you know some of their students will leave, because of St Jo kinder, St. Stephen's girls kinder. I like this school because of the students are humble and good manner. Their PTH and English level are outdate.

Sure, many kids of this kinder got excess training, like music instruments, PTH, English, drawing, nopi, ....
You can see the school provide a lot of ex-activity for the kids also.

From my friend's daughter, who is studying in SPCCPS G1 for three months. Another friends daughter studying in SSCPS in Stanley.

SPCCPS is St Paul Co-educational College Primary School in Nam Fung Path, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong.

Thanks for your info. Is your child still studying at 嶺南幼稚園? From the info on education bureau, they have only around 64 K3 students in 08/09, if 12 got into co-ed, then the ratio is so high. But then I need to check about the class size of K3 with the school again. This school is very low key, they don't publish their P1 results on their website.

My child studied in Lingnan for 4 years from N1 to K3. The 87 K3 graduates in her year went to different kinds of primary schools, including DGJS (3), DBS (not sure about the final no.), Hennessy Rd GPS, SKH St James PS, Lingnan PS, True Light, etc etc.

In my view, the teachers in Lingnan were caring; children got chances to perform while the Eng. teaching could be improved.

Hi ema:

Which school year that you child graduated from Lingnan? Do you know any children admitted to SPCC? Heard that quite a few children admitted to DBS as it used to be in each year, but donno about spcc. Do you have any ideas?

Besides, is the level for subjects like Math, Chinese really too easy? I keep hearing about this c omment, just worry if the syllabus is too easy for children to get adaptive to Primary.

It's very difficult to say which one I like. They both have their advantages and good things that I like about it. But no doubts SKH Mt butler is more famous.
