歡迎。 RC 是一間程度較深，但對家長來說壓力不大。
因學生在日常功課、評估、補充紙和默書已有溫習，所以
考試時再加溫習便可。

Yes, I enrolled too !!! Nice to meet you all ! Also thanks Nora for enriching us so much information about Raimondi! You know, as informed by that paper I got on the registration day, we can only hear from the school again by June/July 2010 ... sounds so remote. So thanks Nora for you advice in case we have more things to ask !!! :)

Nice to meet you! I live near to Lai Chi Kok. How about you? I am wondering how many students of Kowloon side will join.

I don't know a lot about Raimondi. But the comments my family have heard so far are good (e.g. academic result. behaviour of students).

Thanks for your sharing! Would you please also let me know if a primary section student could go to secondary section normally (i.e. if the exam result is not too bad)? What is the selection criteria? Thank you!

(總共有 178 個 P.6學生)。中學有 4 班, 收 3 班高小, 1 班其他小學生。若小學保持全級 100 名內, 可以直升中學。中學部會考14 分或以上的 % 越來越高, 很多學界運動是在 A 組。

I live in HK side, I choose RC because it is an English primary school and not much pressure as the top branding school. In primary one, they have Eng and Chinese version for Maths and GS subject, so seems ok

I live in Tseung Kwan O. I consider is it need to move to HK because school bus cann't provide service for Kowloon side.
Pls share your commet.
Is it any live in Island Resort? Can you give me the school bus time table or any commet for school bus.

For your information:loveliness: -
Pick up time of Island Resort is 06:45 provided by schoolbus and
Pick up time of TKO is 07:05 or after(up to different location) provided by fongyi (9205-0590) nanny bus.

Thanks for your info. Would you please also let me know how many students are there in one class of the secondary section? As you mentioned 85% of the places will be reserved for primary section students, it should be more that 99 (out of 178 this year). So for the rest (qualified but not joined the secondary section), they chose to join other schools?

Secondary is 40 persons/class, total 160 persons.
99 primary students to secondary, others went
to Queen's, King's , St Jo, Wah Yan, St Paul's boys, St Stephen's, St Paul Co-edu....
40 students went to others schools - Aberdeen
Technical School,Lingnan, Man Kiu, Rosaryhill ,
Tang King Po ....

I know a parent living in Siu Sai Wan. His kid joins the school bus only for the returning trip. Recently, he drives with his boy to school every morning. He sets off at about 7:20 a.m. and returns home around 8:00 to 8:10 a.m. He then takes the bus 788 to WanChai where his office is. The fuel costs him about HK30.

我囝囝2010/2011都會入RC P.1，we live in kln tong ,by fong yi nanny bus pick up at 6:45am and james nanny bus is 7:00am , is it so early?And I want to know if go to school by school bus at causeway bay or wan chai what time will get on school bus?

軒尼詩道中國旅行社是 7:45 上車

Hi Cranberry,

No particular reason, but I remember 1 reason is
to consider sisters. That is brother and sister
can sit for same school.

The change only after moving to new primary school in Wanchai. At the same time, secondary
school also accept girls (actually has accepted girls in P.6 & P.7).

Primary school has moved to Wanchai for 2 years. The old primary school gave to secondary school. I have visited secondary school and is better than before.

The new primary school size is bigger and
everything is new.

You can call primary school when will have
the open day.

Our son will also study at RC in the coming Sept.
We are also kowloon tong region resident.
If we haven't settled in HK Island side this year (the flats are very expensive recently!), maybe we will stay in Kowloon Tong for his 1st year. We may call a taxi every morning to take him to school.
How about you? Any idea?
Move hse? Nanny bus? Taxi?

Glad to learn that U choose RC. If I were U, the first choice is of course to move to places within walking dist of school. Otherwise I prefer nanny bus over taxi as it is less costly and require much less time commitmnet for parents / nanny. Also , yr kid can make new friends at nanny bus.
