i read the leaftlet from LH. there are some oversea NET students from Canada teaching at the school..

i just want to know how the standard of those NETs?? i went to the interviews at olympics campus. i just wonder how they (oversea NET) work with the local teachers? and their standards as they are just trainees?? the quality may not be controlled?

would any mama with kid studying at LH comment??

oh, u hv already got an interview.. I still haven't got the reply yet.
What do they do during interview? Group or individual? One parent with baby? English or Cantonese?

my gal applied for K1 (Tsingyi). i don't know whether u r the same.

the format was 1 parent accompanying the child. there were about 3 -4 tables inside a classroom. and 2 kids sitting side by side interviewed by one teacher in cantonese.

questions almost the same as other school, like asking the fruit name, playing lego, putting the puzzle, ask who took care of the kids, what to do during weekend, etc... ?

after part 1, there was a NET telling story and observed their performance. lastly, meeting with the principal.

I think you are referring to those NET came from Canada. Last year, LHK has a practicum partnership agreement with the Early Childhood Education program at a technology institute in Canada. One NET were assigned to teach at my son's PN class. She worked as a teaching assistance. That's mean, 1 NET class teacher, 1 Chinese class teacher, 1 Chinese teaching assistance + 1 NET teaching assistance. The Chinese teachers are able to communicate with the NET in English. This year, one student stays in HK and are now teaching at LHK.
