Is there anybody got offer from DBS or SPCC P1 after studying in Grade 1 of an international school?
I'm thinking to put my kid in international school as I don't trust the local education system, except for the 2 schools I mentioned above, which are of long history, good in both academic and all-round training and good moral teaching. However, I heard that they would not consider kids who are studying in IS. Anyone has experience on this?

Yes, my ex-boss's son was studying in IS Kinder and then he transferred to DBS. He is now P.4.

我只想強調這兩所學校的“排外性“可能比其他學校要低！

最起碼他們知道敢報的IS kinder 家長，
不會讓孩子在中文方面落後於本地幼稚園, 一定有資源配合學校要求.

有 bk 板主囝囝ESF year 1時考入咗 DBPS，不過最後都留在ESF。

Frankly speaking, both options (famous DSS/ IS) have own drawbacks / merits. 生命没take two - we never know if we are choosing the best for our kids!

我仔仔以前讀HKIS, R1讀到G1, 成功考入SPCC & DBSPD
最後入讀SPCCPS

HKIS的中文課程較淺, 所以仔仔剛轉讀SPCCPS時感到好吃力 (SPCCPS 是中文小學)

your son must be very smart! when you attended their interviews, did the principals asked you why you wanted to change back to local schools? how did you answer them? thanks in advance for your sharing.

我仔仔間學校都有小朋友考到DGJS
之前亦識得有媽咪的小朋友由ESF P1轉讀DBSPD P1

interview時校長無理到我小朋友讀邊間幼稚園
反而係入到去讀時阿仔的中文比較差老師先問起仔仔以前係咪無乜點學過中文!

oop~~~實在太好lar, 終於有人回答lee個問題, 其實我都想問, 你可唔可以講下, 點解你唔比你仔繼續升上去

(我想做下資料搜集, 我女都讀緊is kinder, 都諗緊比佢繼續定跳番出來讀小學)
