海怡血: 當初揀佢因為見佢好似辦得吾錯, 只係過條馬路就可返學, 吾駛學費, 天主教.

聖士堤反: 相信佢亦辦得吾錯, 但返學要搭校巴 30-40 min, 每月學費+膳食+校巴4,000元, 基督教.

重未決定, 請問大家點揀呀?

But for st. stephen's the total expenses around about HKD9000 to HKD10,000 include ECA+lunch+school bus.

BTW, for st. stephen's, parents have to pay the deposit by Nov23, which was yesterday. When did you receive their offer?

Please check again, it seems --
聖士堤反: 學費(5500)+膳食(7xx)+校巴(~1000)=72xx

I have already paid the deposit $5,500 to 聖士堤反 yesterday. As my employer can subsidize some school fee, so the total monthly cost is ~$4,000 (I guess)

But should I register 海怡寶血(津校) tomorrow?

Very troublesome now.

don't you need to sign the declaration to SSCPS to give up the place from lucky draw?

How can you still have alternative to choose?

I think they can still give up SSCPS and go for the subsidized school.

either inform SSCPS directly or upon matching the record submitted by SSCPS by the Education Bureau.

Old saying again, if money is not a concern - St Stephen. The monthly cost at St Stephen will probably be around

HK$ (5,500 + 7XX + 1000 +400 (ECA travelling cost) + 7XX (music course fee) i.e about 8,400 - subsidies (assuming yr employer can provide that for the next 12 yrs) and excluding tutorial costs, further costs for ECAs (but the last part of cost will have to be incurred even if you select subsided school)

Although your employer subsidizes you part of the tuitions fees, is this on the contract? or just some kind of "promise" or "bonus"? For security, you better estimate it base on projected expenses w/o subsidy.

consideration includes:

style of the school
character of the kid
cost committed (almost 12 years)
religion (if any because they are different)
location (transportation time)

如果而家揀津校, 將來升中一又好煩, 但可能會泒到好中學 ?

St. Stephen 中學以前就一般?
但剛轉直資, 所以將來吾知 !
