Dear All Parents,

We had attended the briefing of 聖士提反 (Stanley).... and the principal never mention they won this year 第60屆香港學校音樂節.... (comparing with SPCC briefing, video looping again & again)

Just for sharing, 聖士提反 (Stanley) had won the contest :第60屆香港學校音樂節優勝者表演小學十歲及以下中文合唱隊 .

BTW can U elaborate yr observation as to diff between students of ST Stephen and of SPCC at the performance?

just for sharing... here is the kids perforemance from SPCC:

1. SPCC has much higher technique, present precisely and accurately. The kids are full of confidence.. Every key,
every tone are perfectly presented. No mistake, finishing the song to get the highest marks.

2. Singing is from heart... when u listen St. Stephen... the soul and passionate are in overall dominance.... And somehow you will feel touching melody in the song.

3. That is somehow like benchmark in 超級巨聲 .... SPCC is fine in presentation and eager to win ! St. Stephen is perform what they are really like to present from the heart and give a nice song to the audience.. You may feel that.

Great observation! I think it also reflect the difference in school's objectives.

1 care more for the school reputation and ranking; 1 care more for their students' all-round development

I thought weiweiwei is too subjective to say so.

However, I agree with weiweiwei after watching their performances.

Did just the melody make people feeling differently?

thanks for the postings! I really enjoy the song of the kids from St stephens. I think the song itself is very meaningful.

And, u may find the St. Stephen kids are really enjoying the song and singing rather than fight for the wins... May be we are too subjective... but that is what we are hearing... thx. for all sharing !
