i prefer York over ST. johannas as york more famous... St johannas looks too easy

BB豬MUMMY, me too, went last Sat.

How do u know about this school?  If it admits your son, how will u choose among all other offers you have got?

I like this school as well as u can see the students are good in Eng and have confidence when they meet the strengers like us, the parents.  They are also helpful to the bbs!

Any idea that whether this school is academically pushy or more emphasis on learning with fun?  How is their primary school allocation results?

Hi,

I think I didn't know this school much. I browsed their web-site and know they have own primary school only.
Maybe I will pay also to St. Johannes if they grant the place to my son.
I think that I will make final decision in the mid of next year if anyone to request to pay full school fee.
How about you regarding the choosing of kgs.

Cannon - will give up
York - will give up
St Johannes - will register as I like this KG

However, not sure about how should I choose between Stafford and St Johannes. I think both KGs offer very good Eng environment and small class. Both have NET as class teacher (but St Johannes might allocate you with Chi as class teacher, however, all subjects except Chi and PTH will be taught in Eng). St. Johannes has its own primary school...

Have you got any offer from St Johannes?

I have exactly the same problem as you, I've given up York and thinking between Stafford and St. Johannes. It's really hard to choose.

Last year, when I choose kindergarten for my son, I have choose York. But they gave me the impression is much "Commercial Feeling" !!
St. Johannes is better including the English encviorment, reading and very kindly teacher.
Finally, I've choose St. Johannes College.

As I've paid the deposit for Stafford which is the sister kg of York, the syllybus is the same as York, but I like the Eng. learning environment and also small class.

So, how's your kid doing now with St. Johannes? If the teachers are caring and patient? I'd really hope to know more, could you kindly help to tell us more please? If your kid chose full day or half day class as I'd like my son to attend full day class but Stafford doesn't have full day class now. I also want to know if they really offer NET as class teacher for each class? I heard that this arrangement only for K1, not for K2 & K3, for K2 & K3 only got Local teacher as class teacher, is that right?

Hello, bella,

I've got the offer from St. Johannes this morning.
Maybe I will pay also but still struggling.
As you might know the kid can only enrol one kg at the last but I paid two kgs already.
you are right that both are have good eng environment, so very hard to choose.

called st johannes this morning. the staff only told me this yr's school fee as no one knows what is the amount for next yr:

K1: $3,300
k2-3: $4,350

我個仔都有考. 我覺得易 ng 易係觀點與角度ge問題,佢只不過係用了其他kg mo 用 ge 方法去考小朋友.如果你連英文都聽 ng 明, 或者 ng 識得mug 野係flower,mug 野係blue, gum 就一d 都ng 易. 佢地都係用了配合係地教學模式的方法去考小朋友吧.

we interview 10 school so far and found St. Johanna is easiest... SC most difficult, then KV, then Creative Primary, then SN then york.....
maybe we use both english and chinese with him at home so we never thought of the language barrier issue....but i want to more difficult school so he can adapt to primary easier... childhood fun doesn't mean he must go to easy school
