Hi
I had the similar struggle few years ago, but the two choices were SFA and 一呂。(infact we also got accepted by KTS, but I like SFA over KTS)
My child is now at 一呂.
I made the decision because:
1. 一呂 within walking distance from home. It saves us so much time to get rest, study and play!(now i even can send lunch to classroom everyday!)
2. Because for 1, My child can join any after school activities after school. But for SFA, we surely cannot join any, cos no extra school bus service.
3. A have a younger child. I am too tried to play the crazy game to 考小一 again. I feel relax with the fact that my younger one is guranteeda seat in 一呂 .
3. 一呂 is free of $$. My plan was, if I l decided to lrt my child entering 一呂, without the financial pressure for the coming years, Ithen i could quit my job as a full time mom....and i did!I am very happy with my decision too!!
In fact I could not compare the two school's academic standard. May be SFA , KTS is deeper then一呂, but the child need to work very hard to maintain a good position.
一呂 has good 派位rate: (74% band one this year).
Their level is also competitive. Of course if you are aimed at very top secondary school in Kowloon district such as La salle, 九華 extra, then KTS school net is surely better. But I am happy if my can enter 呂明才中學(you know this is a very top school in shatin) in the future.
I think 一呂's students are very純品, 師生作風都住樸素。My child loves his school life.
I hope this can help you.
p.s. sorry my english is no good, just that chinese typing even worse, please forgive if any mistakes.

Thank you, agugi.I am afraid that my son cannot enter the Lui Ming Choi Secondary School because the rate of entering to Lui Ming Choi Secondary School is low according to the relevant figures-----18 boys out of 76 boys. Struggle !
