剛收到york 取錄信和 2010年度預備班通告, 如小朋友是2007年3月前出生的, 可以參加york 舉行之預備班, 上學時間由2010年1月份到6月份.參加的小朋友會係k1 編入同一班. 但無講到幾多錢學費喎. 咁佢係咪會將年紀而分班? 有無媽咪考慮報小朋友報讀 ? 大家一齊分享意見, thanks.

我b係 07/10 b, 冇我地份....

Hi MIZU,

My girl is 0702; I have got the same offer.

I have called YORK and the school fee will be same as their kinder which HKD 3080 + HKD 300 snack fee (optional) and the misc charge around HKD 1800- per session + uniform/school bag ...etc

I will send back the notes for "YES" that I will consider to join this 預備班

But the staff said that they will send a further confirmaiton notice to the parents who consider to join this class by late Nov. And then, we can re-confirm back if we do join the class or not.

I got the same offer as well..but still considering to join or not as my girl is studying Nursery class in another kindergarten. Do you quite your existing school and join York in Jan?

I didn't join cos he's in another nursery already. Why didn't York proposed the preparatory class earlier?

They accept students who reach 3 years old only.
I think I won't join the preparatory class as My girl is studying in another nursery as well. And, I am still waiting interview result for other kindergarten.

It seems quite strange that they only offer this class to babies born before march 2007, cos there are still a lot of babies born between march-dec 07??

Why do they need to attend the preparation class?

Will they be teaching different things when they start k1 as compared to those babies who did not attend this class or babies born after march 07??

我個女 0701BB, 上個月收到OFFER LETTER. 但冇收到預備班通告
不過有我都唔比佢返住. 因現在佢返緊 PN.

我個B係07/10細仔, 點解要YORK要選擇3月份出世BB呀? 佢地有得上固之然一定好快識應le間校舍生活, 上k1時一定好定架啦! 咁4月份之後果d小朋友一上k1時未有排都唔習慣d間學校? 好似有d唔係好fair咁

Hi all parents,

If i did not forget the response per my checking with YORK last month.

They claimed one of the reason -
They are the kindergarten which they must follow the HK Education council's instruction to provide the education to th kids exceed 2 yrs 10 months (may be) ... Under this case, they can onlly provide the preparation class to the kid born on/before Mar 2007.

I think another reason which they may not have the license for Nursery school.

我覺得係因為想依家攪掂班大嘅先,
到時d細嘅就算惡攪d, 都唔使咁驚law...

My husband said maybe they have too many classes for K1, but not enough space for preparation class, so can only take some but not all?

講真大仔都唔駛點攪, 反而細仔須要多d時間攪就真
