WISEKID２００７従来没有遮身分、他也説過自己的児子叫ANSON. 応該是他。 不過我就覚得他的意見只能用在GERMAN SWISS学校身上、ESF的学校就未必有這水準了、始終師生比例多、好多時同学都是魂遊的。 但同意読書習慣、ESF的学生也不俗。 有時在SCHOOL BUS上看到同学都是全程看書。

Sorry, I should make myself very clear, rather than just post the subject without a word. I have nothing related to WISEKID and is a newcomer to the forum. Simply becuase WISEKID's previous posts are so impressive to me, so I wonder if someone can tell me they are WISEKID family. That's it and nothing personal.

many years ago, not many people choose DSS or school that needs to pay fee, now it is so difficult to get a seat.
why do you start telling the truth how good IS is? it makes the entrance application number increasing and makes it harder to get in.

How do you compare the CKY (蔡继有) with general IS? They run through-train for 12 years with IB curriculum with more emphasis in Chinese and Chinese values than IS.
I prefer IS for my kids but worry her Chinese competency. And I'm a bit afraid that she might been too "western" when she grows up esp in her puberty...
Would CKY be a kind of "IS" that allows creativity, develops independence, critical thinking, confidence and love in reading while adjusted to be more suitable for local HK ppl who prefer higher Chinese level and moral values?

The problem is that local schools need to compete in local system and duck-feeding remains the most efficient way for better exam result and hence better reputations (higher chance to survive).
In many parents eyes, more creative means less "academic" means less competitive in local system.
In my opinion, such hybrid never works in Hong Kong.

Thank you for your advise. We will learn from your sucessful case. One more question...when and how you make your son write the first sentence (I found writing word and sentence is a major gap).
