So nervous, why SFA and GH send out the letters so early all of a sudden?!

I think I will get the same result as you. It is my girl's first interview, hasn't warm up I guess. And the most damaging thing is that she was asked to stop moving her body but the interviewer!

Don't worry. Maybe they will keep sending out letters because the date of the letter (on the Eng side) is 12 Nov. So, they hope to send all letters before this date, I guess.
Registration date is 14 Nov 8-11am only.
By the way, there are some mistakes on the Eng side of the letter.

I received acceptance letter. I didn't expect the result came out 2 weeks earlier. It's really strange to have the letter dated Nov 12.

I won't give up lucky draw.
On the letter, it does not mention that we need to sign any form. We are required to bring $600 and some stamped envelopes.

正確, 因為如果接近20號先公佈結果, 咁註冊日子就會遲過23/11, 因為23/11會出自行收生結果, 到時可能少左人會選擇德望, 變相間學校又賺少左註冊費啦

I got the acceptance letter too. However, I see another discussion from existing parents that the girls are so hard to school. If they take the school bus, they need to get in around 6:15 and arrive school around 7:00am!! The sky still dark and the school door not yet open. How about Winter? Should I accept the offer and make the whole family feel hard?? The school bus need to pick up the secondary school girl in 2nd round and let the primary girl go earlier. I wonder why the school has such arrangement for the small kids?

Agreed. GH is not stupid afterall. They should have thought about this right from the beginning. GH is the first to conduct interview. I don't know why they have to take so long to release the result. Very poor administration.

Agreed. I'm not sure if I will take up their offer if my girl got accepted. GH is the only school that starts so early. They don't seen to care about young children living far away. Being one of the branded school, they know they have students coming from all sort of places around HKg. Yet, they still have not adjusted their school starting hours even though they have now commenced a whole-day stream. Very inconsiderate.

Yes eggmama. My girl's emotion is stable most of the time. She does not go to famous kindergarten, only XX村 school.
I heard that famous kindergartens may have higher chance in getting into famous primary schools. Maybe you can consider Kentville, CCKG, St. Cat, St Paul .... something like that...

thanks for sharing. I don't believe 'brand' effect, which school (teacher) can nurture kids with heart is good enough. However, I think good teachers tend to work in famous schools.

I believe stable emotion > knowlegde, that's the key of our life. Gook luck to your girl and hope she can study in her favourite school finally.

Totally agreed with Luiluimama. Most girls from waiting list will have a high chance of getting offer in June as the school will call to the parents.

I am still waiting for the letter and it's a pain as there is nothing from the school from Today's post.

My gal is studying in St.Cat, 65% of her female classmate (in her class + had applied) are accept by Good Hope.
But I'm sure not all of them will choose Good Hope afterall.

冇聽過話call番reject咗嘅小朋友，因佢哋好多小朋友都put入waiting list，所以waiting都有排call

I very much doubt that GH had to resort to such action given the large number of candidates they put on waiting list. If they had to call up the rejected candidates, that means the number of people who gave up the offer far far exceeded the number of people who were put on waiting list.

d人究話入到DGJS 2nd interview 一定係好smart, 間間都收, 咁點解GH又入唔到?!?!

即係話今年sc catholics d 女仔都入唔到GH, 咁即係表示宜家GH 收嗰 D 唔係教徒, 係冇多5分去抽自行收生, 即係佢地自行多數都係抽唔到D 超級名校, 有極大機會accept GH 個位, 唔會有位放出嚟

This year!
I've ask some of the mom today at school, most of them will turn down the GH offer if they can draw a good school in lucky draw.
Some of them are waiting for DGS 2nd in result.

I think that's not the case.
Mine is a Catholic, and there're over 50% of my baby's classmates accepted are Catholics (as I know).

Dear all,

我囡囡雖然都係SC出身，但我相信學校唔會咁着重小朋友係咩background(咁當然幼稚園嘅成績唔好差得太緊要啦)，舊年我囡嘅同學校內成績唔錯，但比較怕羞，佢媽咪估佢可能in嘅時候十問九唔答所以衰咗(reject)，而囡囡而家嘅同學都有嚟自普通幼稚園。其實小朋友interview嘅表現係最緊要，因佢哋係獨立見老師，唔會有家長喺身邊，小朋友就會表現出佢哋嘅真性情/童真，有幾多料老師自然知道，怕羞嘅小朋友可能真係會蝕底啲。不過waitlist一定有機會，因好多派到好嘅津校都會放番GH個位出嚟架。
