SO FAR,報了6間直資/私立.
覺得陳守仁最有組織,最有效率,雖然不收我的孩子,但還是很喜歡她的辦事方式.值得一讚!

同意。
英华 - 最差就是要去2次，才知道有没有第2轮家长见校长。话星期五有结果，突然星期2就上网(当然，早好过迟)
DBS - 去递表，要排长龙，去面试的时候在楼梯就开始排队，非常热，去接放学时，又要派队，又要晒多次，现在考完了，又不知什么时候有通知。
TSL - 舒舒服服，网上报名，去交document,15分钟搞妥，面试时，家长在课室里填表，非常准时，够钟走得，又准时在网上知道结果。真的，经过了这一次面试经验，我对TSL的好感加了很多。
p.s.我觉得个题目应该改成为:小一面试安排得最妥善的学校

TSL: Not that good...It is a waste of time to go there in person for application after all applications have been done on website.

On the spot, only things we were asked is the $50 cash and see if online application form information is correct.

Why didnt they just ask to post a $50 cheque as they did not ask for any original documents to check on the spot

other than the 50hkd... didn't you give the birth certificate of your child??
and also the K1 report?!
i also know some parents did make mistake during the online application either the name or the birth date...
of cause for some very very busy parents 15 mins waiting to give all the documents and 50hkd was still too much to waste....

by the way, i don't think that you need to go in person... it was possible to ask someone else bring these to the school for your child....

correct.
maybe monkeydog is thinking about e-ticket type of thing and payment thru credit card. Well, sadly the school needs to make sure that the basic personal details are correct prior to the interview.

but TSL cannot ensure all information is correct by verbal check. Some schools asked you to take water bill, birth certificate to check in schools and only checking the origional documents can ensure info. is correct.

And I was not told to take the school handbook to 1st interview on the application day and that is not stated on interview letter

only asked to pay $50 and verbal confirm if online info is correct and then gave me a receipt of $50. That's all. I bought all oirginals and profile tec., but no use at all. And you know TSL is not in a very convenient location.

1) they asked me to look at the info on the screen to verify it and they also checked the birth cert no., birthdate, etc.
2) they did specify that we needed to bring a document with picture and kindergarten's chop for identification checking. I just brought a school card with these 2 things, but not the school handbook. That was fine.

In that case, the staff forgot that as I clearly remember she didnt tell me to bring school handbook and didnt check birth cert.

The interview letter has stated to bring the original handbook or any other documents with a photo and school chop issued by the kindergarten attending.

Can I also add Pui Kiu is very good for these reasons:
1. long application period, from July to Sept
2. allow application by post
3. no profolio is needed
4. shuttle buses are provided for parents and interviewees
5. during the interview time, parents can either go to the library to read or there is a quesiton-answer session held by principal, so everyone is entertained.
6. shuttles buses also after interview.
7. No second interview is needed for some stuents.
8.parents need not leave campus during the waiting period.
9.No waiting is needed.

Pui Kiu is superb compare to DBS where parents are not allowed to even stay at school, long queue etc!

我都覺得英華由交表個刻到面試安排都最差！交表要排隊，最慘係唔知邊個排先，因為唔係一條隊咁排。面試又要in兩次，其實我都唔明，明明係見校長個次表現最緊要，咁第一次in黎做嘜，重要第二次in係平日，我個日個仔都無得返學。

港同就文明好多，收報名表用支票，所以交去門口護衛收，對齊野好快攪掂。講到明唔in家長，面試當日都係隨便著衫，因為面試當日學校有H!N!要改期，但好先進用SMS通知家長後再出信通知。知道家長係要返工的，所以安排星期六、日面試。見過有家長因改期撞其他學校活動，打電話到港同希望改時間，校方都體恤可以調動時間。講真真係唔係間間學校可以咁，我俾佢十個GOOD！！！

直資 / 私校安排小一申請, 真係各出各法

不方便家長 : 要排長龍夠氣勢, 又可以上報紙

vs

方便方家 : 收多 d application, 可以出口術什麼申請人數有幾千, 幾十人先收一個咋, 好難入架 ..... (其實, d 學校有無需要公開呢 d 數字呢 ? )

個人較欣賞低調的學校 / 家長 / 學生

英华考小朋友的东西包括英文，数学，常识，中文，形容图画，画图，在校长面前读书等等，同时我相信他们也观察学生是否够温顺定当，爱阅读。它要考这么多东西有它的自由，但希望它可以把所有东西都在同一天做完，方便家长。

The situations were pretty much the same for those schools last year.
The one I disliked most was DBS.  They seemed to enjoy seeing desperate parents crowding in the small area outside their school entrance while cars were passing by all the time.
But perhaps the worst was SFA, which we did not apply, fortunately.  They did not allow people to use the school restrooms and were nice enough to rent some mobile toilets for the hundreds of parents and students to use during the interview days.  Just hope they are not doing the same this year.
TSL arrangements were very smooth last year, except that the waiting rooms were too cold.  Now my child is a happy P1 students there!

今年申請左3間only
真道interview waiting time短, 夠人就上課室, 好處係唔駛等, 但好多時朋友仔約埋一齊好平常, 如果一組入面有d係識既, 咪會影響左面試表現lor?
播道面試都好smooth, 但我都係唔明點解簡介會要留小朋友英文全名(講明同hkid一樣), 明明個hall只有一半滿但又唔再繼續接受預約?
港同簡介會唔需預約, hall滿左就即時開課室直播, 我覺得咁幾flexible, 今年出result亦早過預期, sms系統係新野, 值得一讚! (不過講真, interview果日俾家長睇果條片有d悶

都覺得DBS最差, 拒人於千里

, 學校咁大, 都唔比家長係裹面等, 其他都有個禮堂或家長休息室可以坐下。

Day 5 - final interview

我覺得SFA最不懂體諒人, 報名要家長在門口排隊個幾鐘頭, 入到學校還要繼續排, 明明個禮堂有咁多位, 都沒有安排坐位給我們稍作休息, 要我們在禮堂裡排多幾個圈, 真辛苦!

優才不錯﹐校長跟小朋友玩火車游戲。
蔡繼友如果可以以郵寄方式交申請﹐就會方便一點﹐小朋友in 了蔡繼友之後都開心得不得了。
英華真真正正去了五次﹐累
dbs年年被人罵﹐安排不算好﹐但誰叫人家是名校。
