而家煩緊小b做大仔定細仔問題, 前幾日聽朋友講, 原來有d直資/私校係有限年齡報名, 即超大仔係無得報, 其實係咪架呢 ? 有冇媽咪知道 ? 謝謝.!!

我識個家長佢個女係11月出世,佢比個女讀多一年K3,依家讀緊GT,讀得幾好應付有餘. 大B有呢樣優勢.

My girl was born in late Nov, and she is now going through the P1 interviews. We went to DGJS 2nd interview today, and met a girl there. She was born in 2003. Her mother said she has got 2nd interview with DGJS and St. Paul Co-edu, where these two are the most competitive schools in my mind.

Moreover, the girl is very matured and well-behaved... a big difference with my girl. There is no doubt the schools prefers to choose big B. But, if the small B is very smart, it's not worthwhile to waste a year.

Yes, you're right. It all depends on whether the child is smart enough and is capable of entering P1. If the child is ready why bother to wait another year.
But I also know of a parent who still insist to let the child to go to P1 even though the child is not quite ready yet. It's not an easy time for them now but maybe they can work out in the end. Who knows!

即是今年適齡而等下年?
九月或之後出世應冇問題!

Take this year (2010 Admission) as an example.
Age limit for:
(1) DGJS - Only girls born between 1 Sep 2003 and 31 Dec 2004 are eligible for application. No overaged or underaged.
(2) SPCC - Children born within the period from 1-9-2003 to 31-12-2004.

These 2 schools have the same age limit.
